An honorable effort but you cannot cheat on a solo so prolific as the classic solo in Hotel California on the great album in Rock's History where no song is bad. However you did a good job for a scaled down effort so don't get me wrong. If you spend a few more days to perfect the entire, the real solo, you will kick arse so there is absolutely no reason to discount this solo. You were just being lazy when in fact you have serious talent so go back to the drawing board and add those little pieces
