So I'd say that while she is the tamest I'd think Ranma would be better off without her unless he wants to be a cook/cashier/waiter.
Akane isn't the most well versed in homekeeper skills that for sure. So I'd say that Ranma is better off with a complete new girl someone who doesn't have a tie with the others. I'd even settle for Nabiki, if she wasn't so greedy by the end of the story they might actually work things out.
Nabiki is not the best but still one of the lesser bad choices. She is too much into making money and using people to be a a person you can trust and love. Maybe, if they worked out there differences and gained respect for the other then something could come out of it.
IMO, the only one who would be a good choice for Ranma is Kasumi and I'm sure that neither would go for it.

I always fell badly for Ukyo. Not only did Ranma never give her a chance in the fiancee race but even Rumiko Takahashi seemed to ignore her. I mean, she wasn't even in the last and most important arc of the manga (The Saffron arc) Personally, I think Shampoo is the most compatible with Ranma personality wise but Ukyo is the one most deserving to be with him for all the shit she went through.

i couldn't really watch the show (the show was bad). In the book they didn't really get along they just team up to separate akane and ranma. akane and ranma are not a good couple either.

The little Ukyo grew to become a beautyful young girl. I think Shampoo is sexyest but Ukyo is beautyful too^^

Same here. Though I'm a strong Shampoo fan, I have started to respect Ukyo in her own right. The only one I'll never stop hating is Akane. Let Kuno, Ryouga or any of her other suitors have her. Hell, I think Ranma can have both Ukyo and Shampoo, but that's me.

I for one, think Ryoga and Akane is a much better couple than Ranma and Akane... and Ranma and Ukyo are a much better couple than Ryoga and Ukyo...
I just think it is plain obvious that they should switch it...

lol i know she's in love with ranma, its just that if the ukyo-ranma relationship doesnt work out, she would be better off with ryoga. after all, ryoga's a good fighter too dont you think. and if you think they dont get along pretty well, you should watch the ova and ranma 1/2 movie...thats all bye :)

i couldn't really watch the show (the show was bad). In the book they didn't really get along they just team up to separate akane and ranma. akane and ranma are not a good couple either.

Ukyo is the greatest! I love everything about her. I feel sad that she has her feelings set on Ranma but he doesn't see it her way only Akane. Genma Saotome (Ranma's Father) screwed Ukyo i could never forgive him.

loved the profile, very funny. I'm one of the many Ryoga/Ukyo fans, and even though the manga and the anime don't put the two together, I think they would be good together. I never really cared for the Ryoga/Akari pairing even before I became an Ukyo fan. I guess we'll never know though, the series is well and over
