Hi Matt! Glad to see you guys on YT. I still have the photos from your first gigs at school and a cassette tape from you first gig at Furey's in Bangor. All when the band was called "trine" If I can figure out a way to "digitise" this stuff I will try to post it online. Dodge with serious hair and all!
I was lucky enough to see this band in St. Louis when they toured to support this album. I think they were at Cicero's basement bar. (not really sure, lots of drink in those days). They were great. I always thought 'Freakshow' was their best song.
@irishmatt66 No; seriously Bro.....I know it was somewhere in or around the Delmar Loop. BlueBerry Hill possibly.?. Kennedy's .?... I never saw any bands in the West End. Don't get down that way much. I at least know it wasn't Miss. Nights. I honestly think it was Cicero's. I know it was sub-terraninan anyway. Have I lost what was left of my feeble mind already? AAARGH!!! Anyway; thanks for responding.
@thiekrelmik ... definitely the Links Club. Played Mississippi Nights twice then Links every other time. Links is now Club Viva... oh.. I'm the drummer for Ghost. I moved to STL after the band broke up. glad you enjoyed the shows.
Im trying to get in touch with them again. I was the front of house sound engineer for them years ago (during Tina Turner , Something Happens time) Great days shared with these lads
I saw them in Houston at the old Astroworld theater. I believe they opened for Jesus Jones. It was early 90's. Maybe 91 or 92. Fun times. I still listen to my tape every once in a while.
I videotaped them in Tulsa in '91 or '92. After Ghost broke-up Dodge culled together The Sunday Club (very low key compared to Ghost, but still great). Sadly, like so many other noteworthy, yet forgotten performers (check out 'Denzil') they had to compete in the arena with so many throwaway, TOP 40 bands and so they didn't get much airplay.
I saw these guys at a dive club in Greenville, SC and loved 'em ! Wondered what ever happened to them. Only band from Ireland that mentions Mishawauka IN that I know of !
I knew these guys years back when their manager Dave Sinton and i worked togther at Slaughterhouse Studios in UK. Over the years I have had number given to me for Sint, from everyone from Tm Wheeler to Andy Cairns. Non of them worked!!
Love to speak to him again. And no he doesnt owe me money. LOL. I just owe him a lot form making me who I am.
I met Matt recently, he and his lovely wife Lorraine in Belfast. He's currently living in the states..Where are you? Anyway, he's on Facebook..Mark Matthews...and he even got up and did a stint in The Empire..aw it was class to see him.
saw them live in the kiln in larne n ireland, many many years ago, got spat on too.! must admit, now sitting here in Idaho, damn, pretty damn good music. Wish I wasn't so drunk in my 'younger days' to appreciate them, as i do now
Life under giants.great album from start to finish.

@marisha79 yes! back when Pinfield was cool. HTG was sick. "Your alternative to the same old rock and roll." and it was true.
