There is no probable cause in a sobriety checkpoint, therefore they are illegal.

When you are working in law enforcement you will work under people that have major inferiority complex. The leader of our boarding team was such an asshole to all the fisherman. Sobriety checkpoints are in violation of the fourth amendment of the constitution. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. There is no probable cause in a sobriety checkpoint, therefore they are illegal.

1. The prisons are PRIVATELY OWNED, meaning when people go to jail, SHAREHOLDERS MAKE MONEY! So they LITERALLY have meetings to see how to fill the newly built jails. Many times even giving judges money as bribes.
2. America has more people in jail than Afghanistan, China, Japan, France, Canada, Syria, New Zealand, and England COMBINED!
3. I almost got 15 years and didnt commit a crime!

No not combined, IF you took all the worlds people who are incarcerated minus the U.S.A the amount would be greater than the current 2.2 million U.S prisoners. China is second but they execute a larger portion than here., Canada and japan are half the population. And like I previously mentioned. Most other countries go with traditional execution.

I suggest you check further caleb. You see you are half right. Lets say for example for every man that goes to jail for one year it costs the privately owned jail 8,000 to feed and house. That jail then charges the federal government about 35,000 in fees so they make money. Whats really and truly worse than all is what they do to juveniles. Some kid who might have got a month in juvenile hall will end up living there until he is 18. Getting sometimes 5-10 years in child jail.

@FreedomisHistory yes but those are for crimes that he committed. Yes I will say that our judicial system sometimes does put innocent people in jail. But it does give them a chance. Thats what the applet courts are. If a judge is unfair to you, you can appeal..

America only has a small 5% of the entire earths population, but it has 25% of the earths prisoners. Another way to look at this is. 1/20 people are american, and 1/4 prisoners are american! 1 out of every 4 prisoners on earth are AMERICANS. The system is screwed and if you ever find out your views will change fast. Appeal my ass.
