@anataria I'm confused. You said you are anti-christian. But you respect the Bible. I know a lot of atheists that respect the Bible.. that sort of makes sense... But anti-christians aren't mere atheists. I guess, I'm curious what you mean by "anti-christian"... I'm not seeking an argument or anything.. The reason I ask is cause I've never heard anyone say that while saying they respect the Bible as well. Hmm...
@AlhambraMusic Because christianity is a lie, these people belive in the stupidest shit, you wanna tell me that some bitch in the fuckin sky created the fuckin world? really bitch, listen to how stupid that sounds, when we have science that proves and disproves things all the damn time!
@zachIPFW How, exactly, does science disprove it? Say you say man was made by evolution. What if I say God created man. Did I say God created man in a specific way? No. We just don't know. For all we know evolution was the process God created man through. And besides, what do you think our current, modern day science will be in, say, 1000 years. Primitive nonsense made up because we didn't know what was really going on.
@zachIPFW First of all, you should show some respect. Even atheists can respect religion, I know I do.
So you don't believe this story. So what? I don't believe it either and I think it's beautiful, that's why I love this movie. Believe it or not, Egypt is in this story and there's nothing worth complaining about.
@DeathByChocolate1995 i dnt give a fuck what u believe in, i feel srry for u because u were fed lies all your life and now ur religion has fucked u up so bad ull prolly nvr be able to see the truth!
@DeathByChocolate1995 I dnt give a fuck what u believe in! I actually feel srry for u ppl, becuz you'v been lied to all ur life, and now religion has fucked up not only u but the world! U'll nvr see the truth
@DeathByChocolate1995 Bcuz all you ppl are the same "Believe what i say or ill hurt you" thats how all u ppl spread your lies, u force them to believe ur smut or you tell them thery are gonna go to "Hell" and be punished for eternity. go a read a book AND I DNT MEAN THE BIBLE!
@littlemissmoneybag u want me to explain how the world was created??? Ppl write hundreds of volumes to explain that type of thig. So u cant just sit here and try to explain how the universe was created. I'll try to give the sumed up shorter version. Basically we have dust and debris flying around space large objects like asteroids have a gravitational pull, they pull all this space dust and debris and the asteroid gets bigger and bigger, the bigger it gets the greater its grivtational pull.
@littlemissmoneybag some of it is the left overs from other planets, stars, and such but much of it originally occurs naturally to explain ur question, made up of elements that are naturally found in the universe they dnt have a known origin they have just always been.
@zachIPFW, "they have just always been"...ur contradicting yourself there...on the laws of physic, it's impossible...nothing comes from nowhere. Ur just stating that space/time didn't existed when the universve was created...so, ur saying exactly what God claimed about the creation of the Cosmus...some say the Universe is infinite...following the laws again...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. There's no explanation...
@felipe21279 Actually there is explanation. Not proved yet, but do you know the Big Crunch Theory? It's really interesting. It says that (if I understood it right) the universe bended over itself after expanding too much and that the big bang was actually a big collision in which the particles went together to one point. In that moment there was no space - so there was no time either. That big collision would cause a great amount of energy that made them explde again, causing the big bang.
@AlhambraMusic, yeah, i know about it, but how the particles were formed???...to expand, a thing must have an growing-mass (and it could be multiplication or division of particles, or filling)...To me, Science and Religion should walk in the same way, because like you said, they explain the same thing, the origin...Religious people shoudn't call "Scientists' "unfaithful" or "ungrateful", and scientists shouldn't call Religious "brainwashed".
@felipe21279 I understand. I do think that some religious people are brainwashed but not because of not believing in the Big Bang but because of a lot of other more complex little things. As well as there are some scientists than can't see more behind their equations. The thing is we shouldn't generalize.
And, @zachlPFW, stop calling things stupid. You're not going to convince anyone that way. I'm sure you can do better.
@AlhambraMusic, yeah, even religious people call each other brainwashed because of that complex little things...after all, some of them do not understand the Bible correctly...to compare God, the Apocalipse and the Mayan culture with that LIE (2012), someone is wanting to suck our (human in general) intelligence even more, and i'm not even talking about making money.
@felipe21279 So yes, I agree that it's a cycle, I think it's the most logical explanation.
If you don't believe that's fine, please don't think I'm trying to convince you or anything :) But science is such an exciting subject that it would be sad to ignore all of it's beauty just because it's a different way of thinking.
I'll always think science and religion are just two ways of explaining the same thing but that, instead of working together, they are considered enemies. It's a pity, really.
@zachIPFW, you talk about natural elements...there's no natural elements...something created it, something created what created it...it's an cicle, we cannot explain it...only something that's not physic, not limited, far for our aknowledge or reality could be "infinite".
@felipe21279 u are absolutly right we cant prove where these elements come from but science has proved so much against religion that to say God created it is just stupid
@littlemissmoneybag This happens and the heap gets bigger and bigger, this gravitational pull along with immense pressure and heat at its core causes it to liquify, thus our molten inner core around our solid core its extreamly complex and im no geophysicis, or expert on the formation of planets go look it up and do some productive research i should have to explain all this to u!
@zachIPFW For anything to be formed in the first place, you must first explain where the raw materials, the spaces, and laws of physics by which they follow came from.
@zachIPFW Hey man. I know you have some frustrated posts on this video.. I'm not antagonizing. I just wanted to inform you. You may already know this. You may not. But Egypt plays a very important role in the Bible.. and its not a wholly negative one either. The story of Joseph is a prime example of that.. Honestly, Israel is painted in a worse light than Egypt in the Bible. Food for thought.
This track isn't actually on the CD illustrated, but it was on a collector's edition disc. It should have been on the main album (they could have dropped the THREE songs on it which aren't in the movie)!
Hans Zimmer was apparently more skimpy with the drums early in his career. Of course now he's a percussion freak, so skimpy by his standards is average to the film industry.
I first discovered Hans Zimmer's name through The Dark Knight and Inception. I then noticed he'd written some of my favorite film scores, and now he's my favorite composer of all time. The man is just incredible.
i never know wen its hans zimmer or not. I just kno the music is awesome. then someone says hans zimmer and i'm like "this would explain the amazingness"
Warning: DO NOT put this song on your iPod. this came on as i was walking on campus, and my entire life turned into an intense chase scene. i barely made it to class.
then again, you should try it out. if you're into that sort of thing.
Zimmer's best cue in the movie. It works in both Deliver Us and When You Believe, until finally foreshadowing the finale of the entire film. Why doesn't he compose music like this anymore?
do you know what the part is called when moses is dreaming in hieroglyphics and he finds out the truth with the crocodiles, etc. is that even on a soundtrack? if it is, did you download it?????? i'd really love to get it!!!
i was looking through different videos that had the soundtracks on it. Then i asked myself "Hey, what about when the brothers were racing?" and here you put it up!!
Its also easy to see this is the same guy who wrote music for The Dark Knight...Hans really does have a easily recognizable style, but it still is powerful if you don't listen to every one of his songs over and over again...=P
i love this song, this movie, & Hans Zimmer!!! :)))
but i was wondering, i know it says that the name of the song is "Chariot Race", but i can't find this song anywhere online, or on the track listing for the soundtrack. where can i find it...? please & thank you!
If you want to download this, use the Mozilla Firefox YouTube downloader than export the audio using MPEG Streamclip. It works really well. Thank you for uploading this song! I needed this to complete my collection!!!
anyone looking for a cd that has this track? google prince of egypt soundtrack collector, you can find it on amazon for a penny plus about two dollars shipping.
I don't know if it should be in that order, but yeah, those three are my favorites of the genre. I love an orchestra fused with the sounds of the Middle East.
If you want songs like this, just get the Youtube Downloader and then download this video. Next just convert the video to the MP3 format on the Youtube Downloader and you are good to go. Thats how I get a lot of songs I cant find on the internet.
You know, if anyone is having trouble with megaupload, they don't have to pester you with emails or messages. I really love this song, but hate megaupload, so zamzar is a great alternative. Maybe the uploader would want to consider placing a link in the description to avoid so much extra work?
But regardless, thanks a lot. I love this song and it's intensely beautiful. Thanks already for sharing.
You gotta hate it when they drop emotionally drilling pieces like this from the OST, just to make room for some "inspired by" blandies. Amy Grant could've stayed, but the likes of Boyz II Men could've been ditched.
I'll always remember the priests' face when saw the chariots and the sand wave!!! Hehehehehehe...

All of Hans Zimmer's stuff is good but can be conducted in 3/4 and is mostly in some sort of minor key (from what I was told).

Best Egyptian soundtracks:
3. The Mummy (Jerry Goldsmith)
2. The Mummy Returns (Alan Silvestri)
1. The Prince of EGYPT (Hans "EPIC" Zimmer!!)
