  • Interesting video EXCEPT that the screen layout in the video is very different from the current product version. That is not good and quite confusing. Actually I like the layout shown, with all the info on the top of the screen and the document itself across the remainder, much better than the 3 col layout in the current release. The product really needs the ability to control the display of various sections.

  • The idea is good, but I agree that the inteface is poor, and not particularly easy to use. What I am looking for is the nice professional look of Mendeley and the mindmap capabilities of frreeplane or personal brain

  • This is perfect, I found it because I was looking for an OCR for my job, but it's also just what I need to add notes to my lecture PDFs. High hopes for this product. =)

  • Any chance for a Linux version?

  • Great software... I especially like the nested tag feature. However I feel the GUI needs improvements.

  • Sorry Im not slating it, in fact I have it installed and plan to use it and I guess GUI design is less relevant than what the program is meant for - keep up the good work.

  • I like the idea of this software but the interface is just horrible. Then I guess its all about functionality.

  • @DrFurb we are sorry you are not loving the interface. We have had to deviate from some of the usual Windows themes (e.g. avoiding menu bars and using big buttons) so that Qiqqa is also useable by finger on tablet PCs. We will keep iterating - so any feedback is very welcome!

  • This looks fantastic! I'll definitely give it a try. I am particularly interested in the "mind maps" and "annotations" features, it would be interesting to see how well Qiqqa integrates with mind mapping software, e.g Freeplane, FreeMind, SciPlore, etc ...

  • Very cool. I particularly like the annotation report builder. Perfect for academics. Right now, much of my research is found in websites and MS Office files, so I'd really like a version of this that would work with other files as well as pdfs. Also, it would be great if I could print documents into the tool. I'm guessing these features are already on your roadmap. Good luck with it. Nice work.
