  • Even though this video is old i have not known much about the artificial pancreas i hope to get a response......I have been type 1 diabetic since i was 8 years old (3rd grade) I've had this disease for about 5 years now im now in 8th grade I dont have a pump because i dont like the idea of having those machines on me all the time but research has been improving alot i would consider getting 1 but I would like them to be smaller i hope that can be arranged.

  • I fully support the artificial pancreas but for it to work you would need to work with government's and insurance companies all across the world to fund the CGM sensors otherwise this system won't pick up. Sensors are not cheap.

  • Many people wear a sensor and a pump already. The AP won't change that, and doesn't really add anything else to wear. It's pretty amazing.

  • im diabetic and im enthusiastic about these developments but wouldnt it be kinda uncomfortable to have these machines on u 24/7?

  • WOW, incredible, this is so awesome! I truly hope it's going to pull through for all those millions who are suffering today because of this disease.
