Dimple was chosen for this film as Ramesh Sippy (the director) thought the Bobby (1973) chemistry would work but Kamal Haasan stole the show. Rishi Kapoor was great. RD BUrman's melodious music with songs from Kishore Da, Asha Bhonsley and SP Bala, another talent from south. Hindi Cinema is not fair in utlising talent from south, see we have examples of Chiranjeevi, Venkatash, Nagarjuna, shall I say Rajnikath?
