@paddotk I trained with one ... it is worth buying especially if you want to train your precision and get used to hit with bare hands. I am not a boxer, I am more into self defense, and the BOB is a great tool when you want to train those sucker punches like poke in the eye, pike to the throat, hammerfist to the bridge of the nose, punch "on the button" ... The "feel" is great, you don't feel bones like in a human body, but it is still very close to the feeling of hitting in human flesh.

@mukasensei Okay, thanks a lot. I myself would like to use it for kung fu punches and pressure point training and that kind of stuff. But its pretty expensive and i definately can't have the BOB shoving backwards the whole time. :)

@paddotk I think the BOB is perfect for what you want to do. It is expensive but I really think it is worth it, even if you can work this with low tech accessories. About the BOB shoving backward, if the base is correctly filled it does not move when you punch. And anyway, when you punch a guy hard in the face, he falls backward, so if the BOB do the same, it makes it a more realistic training tool.

Its supposed to have the same resistance as a human, and he as heavy as a human. The difference between that and a punching bag is that the bag is just a bag.... This is actually shaped like a person, so it trains you a lot more on accuracy.
