  • Gravity is crying itself to sleep tonight.

  • So! My friend is the one who made the big play! So :P

  • My friend is the coaches son

  • Dang he Has hops! Nice work dude.

  • 7 people tried to be hopped over like this.

  • this is great. lol thats what you call determination, or maybe its just instinct. :)

  • Because of this, North Carolina High School Baseball told all of coaches that jumping over catcher is an illegal slide. I might be wrong, but that's what i heard.

  • 1:05 - is he allowed to steal 3rd base if a manager is out on the field arguing?

  • @megarockman I play high school baseball, and when the play is dead, and the coach are either arguing or switching pitcher, you are allow to leave your base to talk to your 3rd base coach. However, when the coach are done arguing or pitcher is ready, runners got to go back to base.

  • he was out..

  • @redcheeks1025 He was safe. You can clearly see the catcher misses his tag with the glove. His elbow, on the other hand, is what people are seeing near Kownacki's body. There is never a tag out.

  • yea that was a really stupid comment podbay. hes goin to talk to his coach the play was dead for a good 2 minutes. way to make urself look stupid. but this was an incredible play

  • is this even legal? like maybe in college it is, but in major leagues is it legal?

  • @wadoryu2u i do not see why not...

  • that's what i call a "teabagging"

  • He must wear superman socks.

  • Superman doesn't leap, Superman flies.

  • I hate sports (Hockey being an exception), but I have to thank TVTropes for linking me to this all the same

  • I seen the video as many times as well. Some people got it confused when watching the video but Brian Kwnacki was actually on first base when he started running. After the batter made a hit, Brian ran from first base to second to third and then made the dive over the catcher to home plate.

  • Oh my GOD hauhauhauahahuahuahu that's funny!!

  • Anyone else see the player stealing third in the end there? Just walking over while no-one's looking.

  • @ImpudentInfidel Time is out. He's NOT stealing 3rd.

  • i dont care how the rest of this game turned out, if you pull that move you win. hands down

  • Good use of a dive roll there :D

now go and own some other teams!

  • I *love* this video!!!! Having watched if over and over, I now find myself hearing the misspoken play-by-play, and I can't resist mentioning them: At 0:08 he claims Brian Kownacki was hit by two *consecutive* pitches (!) Since when was that possible in baseball??? Yet the kid in the booth clearly said "two consecutive pitches", which I find LOL! Also .. at the play's climax, he says the runner jumps over home plate - but in fact he jumped over the catcher, not home plate.

  • @rmbjr60 : Its called over analyzing, and its a really annoying quality few people have.

  • @rmbjr60 I seen the video as many times as well. Some people got it confused when watching the video but Brian Kwnacki was actually on first base when he started running. After the batter made a hit, Brian ran from first base to second to third and then made the dive over the catcher to home plate.

  • that was sick that was his elbow backing up if anything

  • that was sick

  • Haha did you just see the 2nd baseman just stroll on over to 3rd? LMAO!!!!!!

  • Quit complaining manager, this kid just owned ur catcher

  • Not that impressive it just looked cool, theres no way he should have gotten even close to winning an espy.

  • dude sounds like hes on his period. get over it

  • I'm pretty sure he's not sneaking over to steal 3rd. He's going to talk to the 3rd base coach. When the head coach is on the field. The play was over.

  • LOL manager is like WTF YOU CAN DO FLIPS?!

  • LOL

  • thtz badass

  • great play.... but that announcer sounds just like that douche sean hannity

  • That was amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • #LOL

  • Crowning Moment of AWESOME!!!

  • #LOL

  • Tots Dank Brahs. i do that daily

  • 99.9% sure that time was out and he is going to talk to the 3rd base coach

  • beast

  • there goes chuck norris

  • he thought outside the box :P

  • Holy Shit! Fucking beast. Lmao

  • Don't care about baseball. But that's just WIN. :D

  • Best play I have ever seen!!!!! L@@K this amazing play!

  • wow. respect

  • guess he was tried of being stuck on third base, bet he's the same way with his girlfriend.

  • BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NICE

  • i wonder what made him suddenly think..... "hey im just gonna do a full-on army roll over this jackass in my way"

  • @insertfoot2ass best way i could put that lmao

  • Epic!

  • the guy whos yelling has to either get his mouth away from the mic, or stfu.

  • baseball is boring to watch. untill this happends, then 5 mins after this kind of thang happends it gets boring again.

  • @MIGsCT true. haha. Its not a big deal, the leap that is.. it's probably parkour.

  • incredible!!!!!!!

  • daaamn hopped ova him

  • The best part of this video? Notice how the batter calmly strolls from 2nd to 3rd base while the players are milling about the pitcher's mound near the end of the video? Brilliant!

  • @podbay

Good eye! What some incredible heads-up play by the whole team.

  • @podbay There was a timeout called, he was probably going to talk to the 3rd base coach.

  • @podbay

yeah to talk to the 3rd base coach... he eventually would go back to 2nd and play would resume

  • @podbay I'm fairly certain that time was out, since the coach is on the field and all. Almost good observation.

  • @podbay i'm pretty sure he's going to third base to talk with his third base coach... the play is already dead

  • @podbay Time, was called. He was most likely going to talk to a third base coach.

  • wow

  • The best part is that he rocks it like it was nothing, just a couple chest bumps and he's off the field.

  • Abuzazazazadorazo. Incredible boy!

  • Ahahaha thats ball-sy

  • omfg

  • AMAZING

  • Under pro and NCAA rules, this play is legal and the umpires were correct in allowing the runner to score. Under high school rules, it would be illegal; the runner would be out and ejected. Plate ump Rob Hartey was in excellent position for the play, but the most important, unacknowledged function his crew performed was in not allowing the tenor of the game to deteriorate into retaliatory brutality once the play was over. Kudos to the umps for the cool composure and command they demonstrated!

  • The best play I've ever seen on the diamond! Derek Jeter's running back flip to home for the out comes in second.

  • Wicked leap, the catcher just unconsciously put his glove up in a trance state without even knowing if it was high enough, which he(the catcher) was short by inches to spare!

The coach knows better, but he has to prove to his-side-of-the-bench that he's willing to fight for his team wether he's right or wrong, how embarrassing tho, YOU GO COACH!! hehehe...

  • i like it how the catcher doesn't argue until the pitcher argues hahaha

  • Heck of an announcer; hopefully that kid gets a good grade

  • LOLZ! ii love it!

  • wow it must suck to be that catcher .. he cant even drink

  • This sports caster sounds like he has a bright future.

  • im speechless

  • Oh wow, that's amazing!! xD

  • EPIC WIN XD

  • the runner got an extra base and he was safe at home. the catcher had the ball tucked against his chest and he knew he missed the runner.

  • What I wanna know is wtf the catcher was thinking. All he had to do was raise his arms, instead he fell forward. Wtf?!

  • @Talta184 It's not often you see a guy dive over you so I don't fault him for dodging. But that was pretty freakin' sweet.

  • wtf i posted the same vid and i only have 1300 views

  • @iR0NMike4 We can't exactly give 180,000 views to each of the 40 videos, now can we? One will get the most views; it's all a matter of timing.

  • Ninja!!

  • He WENT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL!!!! YEA AMITY!!!!!

  • @TheBub2020 yea i saw this in all the local newspapers haha. milford, here.

  • its gotta be the shoes

  • is that leagel????

  • Amazing!!!

  • Davey Sharpe lives!

  • @kiiifute1 Your such a nonce!!!

  • Oh yeah he nailed it, he slapped the base while in mid air and the catcher didn't even touch him. Ah, gotta love it when you see the other team's coach throw a sissy fit, ^.^ You know if it had been his player he wouldn't be crying.

  • i watch it in slow-mo, the catcher was never even close to touching him. safe!

  • @kiiifute1 You know your constitution. You are correct, but what does that have to do with this ball game ?

  • Safe ! Diving IS allowed, no, so he just dived a little higher.

  • great job men..! you got it!

  • i seen this on the news

  • it looked like he tagged the ground thats it lol

  • WTF is there to argue about?!

  • @89YerMom depending on what league this is in a lot of league it is required to slide i'd imagine they are arguing that this wasn't a slide since there was a play

  • This kid is a BEAST

  • Kid is a beast

  • wow that coach must be a supreme douchebag

  • Pete Rose: Eat your heart out!

  • Just when you thought you have seen just about everything this happens.

Never in my life have I seen anything like this and I think it is just downright amazing!!!!

  • Whoooooaaaaaaaaaaa! That guys got hops, and yet he's playing baseball instead of basketball

  • LOL!

    1:05

A Player at 2nd base sneakily walks over to steal 3rd...

  • @CometLol haha

  • @CometLol

No...he's not stealing third. It is a dead ball. He's walking over to talk to his third base coach. What I wonder is what took so long to get the ball in from CF?

  • @pullt its called a joke, CometLol was joking

  • @pullt

The ball is live unless someone calls time out.

  • @CometLol ahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhah lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CometLol Haha nah he's walking over to the third base coach my dude.

    Learn yo baseball!

  • @CometLol I'm sure he is just going over to talk to the 3rd base coach. Time is out when the manager is arguing with the ump.

  • @CometLol he probably went to go talk to the 3rd base coach...

  • @CometLol I'm pretty sure he's not sneaking over to steal 3rd. He's going to talk to the 3rd base coach. When the head coach is on the field. The play was over.

  • hahahaha omg that was amazing.

  • nice! :D lulz!!!!

  • he was clearly safe lol..

  • WIN

  • nice play

  • OMG nicee....

  • LOl1 I wonder if he was on roids.

  • definitely had their red bull

  • @ptoran16 2 extra red bulls

  • The 9-1 deficit comeback is just as amazing. They musta had their Red Bull.

  • That was a great play by the runner coming in to score from first! Check out another great play. This one was at the high school level in San Diego county. One out, runner on third, fly ball to right center. The catcher makes a great play to record the back half of a double play the hard way. The catcher was able to stay in the game and finish the day.

  • this is funny and cool

  • Tentimebadass. He was not tagged. U can't put hitters out with ur elbow. Look closer.

  • He actually didnt jump that high? the guy that he jumped over was kind of bending down there was notting spectacular about it?

  • I bet of a lot of baseball players are thinking about picking up gymnastics now. :)

  • Wow. Thats awesome.

  • holy shit thats pro

  • The guy who got the hit walked to 3rd at the end!

  • One of the best efforts ive ever seen.

  • call em up 2 da majors..

  • that was hot as hell

  • oh jeez. my mom sent me this video because yesterday, i was running homeexactly like this guy, and the throw came, and he was about to tag me when i lept over his glove and landed on home safely

  • That is FREAKEN amazing! :D Haha! WoW

  • 0:58-1:11... four play anyone?

  • People keep saying that this has never been seen before! But that move was in the movie Major League by Wesley Snipes' character steals three straight bases. While stealing home plate he somersaults over the catcher to touch home plate.

  • @DisturbedRyukenden ....it was Omar Epps in Major League 2. He leaped over Parkman because he told him he didn't intend to slide.....I believe he called him a sucker as he floated through the air

  • @DisturbedRyukenden yep your right its been done before, infact wesley snipes does it much better and the camera work is so much better in the film aswell.

  • wow but the catcher dont touch him.. :S

  • The kid just wanted to go home!

  • Oh Shit That Was Epic. I

  • that was sick!!

  • This guy be a Ninja, damn!

  • Very observant billybobski8, I never would have seen that and must agree-he's safe.

  • epic jump!

  • I think he was out.

  • this type of shit rarely happens in baseball and that is why it is so fucking boring

  • @mchoops91 yeah man.. i just like to see the reviews.. i dont like to watch the game complete..

  • fuck what the rule says; that's some amazing shit to avoid the tag.

  • AMAZING! He should try out for the gymnastics team too.

  • It is illegal in high school, I don't know about college though.

NFHS 8-4-2-b-2; "Runners are never required to slide, but if a runner elects to slide, the slide must be legal. (2-32-1, 2) Jumping, hurdling, and leaping are all legal attempts to avoid a fielder as long as the fielder is lying on the ground. Diving over a fielder is illegal" "PENALTY: The runner is out, the ball is dead immediately, and interference is called. ..."

  • He got pwned

  • this happened 4 years ago at my High school and it was on ESPN

  • Whats really cool is this guy was a pinch hitter. You never see that kind of play in the MLB.

  • I SAW THIS X)

  • He did the Fosbury Flop!

  • wow he jumped high! 0_O
