i will not lie to you guys i always watch this part every single day becouse no matter how much the story differs,the scenes of the play with the music makes me fly in my dreams.expressiveinfication what you say about islamic customes is totally right. in my country -qatar- girls wear abaya, which recently is made tight ,which is not acceptable in different parties of religous opinions,becouse the purpose of wearing abaya is covering the body,not shaping it.

However, sadly this dress sense has been abolished by the wearing of revealing and tight clothing which of course goes against the Islamic modest dress. ahmedmazouzi because the story in arab world differs.in persia and india it was fabricated.qais did not kill laila brother. he as a poet said some poems which desribes laila physically which was forbidden in their costumes due to the culture during their time.it degrades the lady no matter how noble she is.her family -as a biduin family - therefore forced her to marry someone called ward to gain her dignity and qais become mad and died wondering in the desert.

Hmm. This is odd. I've seen the whole movie, but the song that Madhuri sings in the beginning of this video wasn't in the movie! The Laila Majnoon act starts at 1:41. That song before that isn't there. Odd.

They may not have been "aesthetically pleasing" to you, but they (esp the little girl)are far better actors! The one that played Madhuri's daughter couldnt dance or act her way out of a paper bag!! If you've seen the whole movie, you'll notice that the little girl dances better in "show me your jalwa" than the one who's the daugther of a dance instructor. She played the american born part very well, but I think the other child was better.
