you can sing but you need training and at the end of a verse you go soft. I have the same problem so I noticed it with your singing. relax more and less tension as well.

Actually, that was pretty good. You sound pretty close to the original singer in the movie as far as meter and feel. You have great potential, you just need to work on controlling your tone and vibrato. I am personally not a fan of the high frequency vib. But like I said, you have great potential. hey, I don't have an intrumental for this. I used audacity(free audio manipulation software) to remove the voice(it's not perfect..you can listen at times and you can hear the real song). just search youtube on how to remove voice from songs and there are a bunch of do-it yourself videos

your voice is nice yes, but your not too good in voice control. you shouldn't hold your voice back. scream if you have to to reach the high pitch. the way you pronounce the words are kind of... rough (i'm not sure if that's how you put it) learn to make it more smoother and yeah try singing using your diaphragm instead of your larynx. when u sing using ur larynx it would sound all weird and out tuned. but ur performance isnt so bad even though ur still a beginner

you do have a good voice, but you are a little flat, and your not singing from your diaphragm! thats why it seems quite monotonous. sorry if i seem harsh but once you start singing from your diaphragm and pronounce the words fully your pitch will improve and you wont go flat on the end of each line.

but do wrok away at it and see in a few weeks times trying recording it again to hear teh improvement.

Watch your notes, and tune. You aren't breathing from the chest, you rather the throat. You would have done much much better with this.

You do have a good voice. I'd like to suggest you try singing from your chest rather than your throat - vocal warm-ups help with that. Plus, pay attention to how you pronounce the words. Diction is important in songs - you have to understand what is being sung! :D

I suggest getting lessons (online or somewhere. Perhaps your local music store). You have a very good voice, try using your diaphragm more, to make sure you hit all the notes.

Don't strain your voice, use your diaphragm to get those higher notes.

I immediately found the official version and heard it, you do sound a lot like the official version. If you had some studio touching up your voice, you'd sound perfect too. You have the right voice for Joseph, so you may want to use that to your advantage by singing Joseph songs lol.

I actually haven't watched this movie in a long time. And was just listening to it, it didn't quite sound near perfect the way a film usually is. However, both at the beginning and at the end I thought it was the official version that I just heard. It wasn't until I read a few comments did it clue me in that it was actually sung by someone else.
