  • Love it!!

  • @Hollyloveszebras Hey Holly!!!! How are you? You guys should come up sometime and see what we are doing up here!! :)

  • @bearlysceneranch2011 I'm good, Jordan's doing well! I'm still loving the soap! And we would love to come up there... just let us know what weekend is good for you guys! I think Tony and Jordan are talking and making plans too, haha.

  • Hmmm. . . there's something familiar about this recipe. ; )

  • @Michigansnowpony Is it yours??? Or a form of yours?? Probably...you are the queen after all!!! You were one of the first ones I watched here :) I just got a breeding pair of Kunekune's too because I watched you. I LOVE YOU GIRL!!! :)

  • @bearlysceneranch2011 Very similiar. Mine has some dry milk added, I use goat's milk, and I let it incubate in my dehydrator too. Of course, like you, my girl is dried off as she's due beginning of April. I developed my recipe after Tammy's from Dehydrate2Store's recipe, incorporating the gelatin to get it thicker like custard style (my fav!) OMGosh -- you got some Kunekunes?!?! How cool is that?!? How do you like 'em so far? Send me a PM!!! (I can answer back now - yeah!!!!).

  • @bearlysceneranch2011 Forgot to mention: If you want to see my recipe, the vid I did on it is from 11/09. Oh, and as for being a queen -- SNORT! I'm more of a bad court jester.

  • One more reason I want an Excalibur! LOL We are going to have to try your idea of Cheerios with the yogurt, my kiddos would probably love this, too! Ella prefers mini chocolate chips in hers! Hope all is well in your world :))

  • @neacie71 You can...I don't...I use fresh every time. I know you can only pay it forward so long before you have to get new so to get the optimal result every time I just buy new. It's still alot cheaper than what I need for my family...I gots alots o kids...LOL :)

  • Do you use fresh milk or store bought?

  • @PrepperHomestead You of course can use either...All my ladies are "expecting" right now so we are not in milk at the moment. Nothing beats fresh for sure!!! :)

  • Museli tastes great in yogurt too!! Put it in the yogurt and wait 10 to 15 minutes. YUMMY!!

  • Always love your videos!

  • Thank you so much!! This sounds great. I'm going to try it!!

  • Looks really good! Nothing like homemade yogurt and fresh fruit.

  • Thanks i am going to have to try this, every time i have done this before i end up with cheese which my wife loves but i want yogurt lol, thanks again glad to see your putting out more videos

  • Thanks so much . I can't wait to try this .

  • I could never get it to thicken to my liking. Thank you for the gelatin suggestion!!! And I love the vanilla bean idea..can't wait to make this...it looks awesome!

  • Thank you...I have an Excalibur, but I don't use it nearly enough. Now I can feel less guilty about buying it.:) I'm definitely going to try this. Yogurt is expensive, when I make smoothies every day.

  • Sure wish I had put vanilla and sugar in mine. Looks great. Blessings!

  • Can you do it in an oven?

  • @ladylilithmoon I know it can't get above 115 degrees or it will kill the live bacteria. So I'm not sure. You can get one of those yogurt makers off ebay cheap or watch at your local thrift stores. I have one and used it when I was first starting making it. It works very well but doesn't make enough for my family at one time.

  • I am going to try this. I was wondering could you use your home made yogurt as a starter for the next batch if you dont flavour it with the vanilla .

  • @sherry4606 Yes...you can use it even if you flavor it no problem. It doesn't last indefinitely though you can only use a few times before you have to start with a fresh one.

  • that looks so easy.... thank you!

  • @skybirdbird Thanks!!!

  • Nice to see you post! I hope your internet troubles are coming to an end! Yogurt looks great. Just the way I do it. I love incubating in my dehydrator. Makes things so easy! Noreen : )

  • @atticus9799 There not coming to an end it just hasn't rained in two days....I used the youtube uploader to put this up too. I tried twice the way I usually do it and it wouldn't work I thought GEESH it's a 3 minute video!! It took me a year and a half to save up for this dehydrator...remember when I first got it? LOL and I could not be without it. It really is an awesome piece of equipment. Now I still need that electric pressure cooker and a descent blender but oh well it's good to have goals

  • Thats looks amazing! I have the Excalibur and always wanted to try but was affraid you made it look easy. Please post the recipe. Thanks.

  • @lourdesmac It is very easy....I tried alot of different ways but this is the easiest I have found. I posted the recipe in the comment section.....let me know if you try it and what you think. You can add 2 packages of the gelatin and it will be thicker try that first and if it's too thick go back to one package OR one package for a half gallon of milk....thanks for watching!!! :)
