i was thinking of putting a hps light in a small closet to grow vegtables during the winter months. would a 400w bulb generate too much heat for a closet? how about a 250w bulb? any advice would be appreciated.
Don't use your bare hands to install the bulb... use a clean rag so you don't put oily fingerprints on the globe and create "shadows" in your lighting.
@doctakay It is a good idea to wipe your lamp off now and then (when it is cool), but fingerprints should not cause any significant problems for an HPS or MH lamp.
I do. My lights aren't permanently attached to the ballast so all I would do is unplug it and feed the plug end through. Did I miss something during the video? I may have since I typed this during it. :)
@shownowt was wondering abaut that 2 lol but i think its bqus there is a balast (restens) a box (balast) witch goes on the out side qus of big heat but im not sure !
what does the 4 inch flange do?
