I:'ve watched this replay a few times and I see no indication that Turco was upset by the hit. Only his team came in to lay the dude out. So, obviously, he expected to get hit in that position and felt that it was fair game as well.

Soccer goalies cant pick the puck up wit their hands and run the whole way down the field 2 the other net drop it and shoot. NHL goalies cant be a 3rd defensemen and expect not to be touched. theyre grown men 2 lets not act like their high school girls or 10yr old boys. its hockey

@pat442389 Yes, but it you dont remember, Rule 69.7 of the NHL Rulebook states that a Goalie can ONLY be hit if it was by accident. AND the other player TRIED to get out of the way. Btw goalies cannot go past the "Red line" at center ice (unless there going to the bench) Thats why goalies in the NHL cant skate down the ice and score. Search "Roy skates past red line" or something along the lines of that if you dont believe me

dude i dont know if this video is slightly old or something. but theres actually a rule that states if a goaltender leaves the crease to play the puck, hes fair game. hordichuk made a clean play and hit him in a clean fashion. turco didnt even go down, he just rolled off of the hit and headed back for his net. it was the fuckin stars defenseman that pulled a doozie on hordichuk and nearly got an interference penalty for trying to retaliate. read the rules before critizing a pro
