Whether or not you believe she is innocent or guilty, how can you support that the evidence was mishandled, withheld, and destroyed? There is even a letter from the Consulate in the video "Schapelle Corby Myths Busted" which shows Schapelle asked for the drugs to be tested. Supporting this kind of injustice goes against everything democracy stands for.

Remember we australians do not consider the indonesian law system to carry much weight. My children were born there and i bought custody from the indonesian national court. My defence was real and true but i still had to PAY in CASH to the court clerk and presiding judge, just to greese the wheels of justice. Schapelle was not convicted in a court of law.

Stories did come out after her arrest about Travellers to bali finding drugs in there luggage. One couple called the Australian Embassy and told them what they had found, they were told to "flush" them right way. Another man told of his elderly mother returning from Bali with drugs found in her luggage!

I find it curious that while the supporters always answer the questions posed by the "guilty" crowd, they never respond to the questions posed by supporters. Instead they respond by throwing out more questions that are based on misinformation. That's generally a tactic deployed when one needs a distraction from the enourmous inadequacies of their position.

If Schapelle is guilty, why did has the Australian government done nothing to figure out how she got that much marijuana through TWO major airports in an unlocked boogie board bag? Why aren't they concerned that None of the CCTV cameras were working that day?
If Schapelle was guilty, why is there a documented request from her that the bag be fingerprinted and the drugs be DNA tested for origin? Why would the Indonesians refuse if it would just prove her guilt?
The reason why everyone has an opinion on this case is because the facts were not allowed to be presented. Therefore, the astute will reason that the evidence never supported Schapelle's guilt. Otherwise we would be discussing evidence and facts rather than opinion. The obvious logic of this is a basic test of intelligence. Those who benefit by portraying Indonesia as a "vibrant democracy" - this illusion will fail and the corrupt will be remembered. It is the nature of history.

Wow nobull1967, forget conspiracy theories, just seek the truth. Why was Corby not allowed to have the marijuans tested to see where it came from? A simple test by the AFP could have confirmed that. Why did the police fail to test the plastic bag for her fingerprints? Why was the total baggage not weighed to compare with the checkin weight? I do not know who put the drugs in her bag, but I would certainly like answers. The Indonesian police said the marijuana was from Australia. Clairvouyants?

Corby's trial by media in Australia was as unethical as her show trial in Bali, with far less excuse. Well done Mr. Wilson for being nearly the only exception. Her detractors don't realise it, but the story of her obvious innocence has successfully crossed the pond to North America; the lies and invective following it have not. The smear campaign can't hide the truth for much longer. You will thank Mr. Wilson in the long run for upholding what's left of the honor of Australian journalism.

Maybe he just beat Wilson to it and that is what made him attack Bakir, or is it a case of "do as I say, not as I do"? Either way, it doesn't smell like the act of a man with any integrity does it?

Remember we australians do not consider the indonesian law system to carry much weight. My children were born there and i bought custody from the indonesian national court. My defence was real and true but i still had to PAY in CASH to the court clerk and presiding judge, just to greese the wheels of justice. Schapelle was not convicted in a court of law.

Stories did come out after her arrest about Travellers to bali finding drugs in there luggage. One couple called the Australian Embassy and told them what they had found, they were told to "flush" them right way. Another man told of his elderly mother returning from Bali with drugs found in her luggage!

Ron & Tony's situations are different. Tony has a lot of knowledge about the Corby situation and wants to share it. If he makes a small amount of money, good for him. Given that the entire Australian media is against the Corbys, you can rest assured they will attack it.
As for Bakir, he told the world he was funding the defence, then asked the Corbys to pay him back! The Corbys & the Aus govt funded the defence!
He also had her sign a contract stating he would claim 50% of future earnings.

OK, for the last time, I didn't bring money into this debate, Wilson did when he attacked Bakir. Whilst I agree that money and integrity don't always go hand in hand, they are not mutually exclusive either. Hypocrisy and integrity certainly are though. Think about it. I wonder if any of the other journos Kaydanes mentioned threatened someone's life?

Tony is entitled to proceeds. How he chooses to support others is up to him. If the new book raises awareness of what can happen to Australians travelling abroad then that's great. The most recent three threats were made my paid junkies and their so-called information was proved to be unsubstantiated by either a trial jury or the police. Even family members disavowed them. If gorb does have actual information then the responsible reaction would be for gorb to take it to the police. But then again, filing false police reports it a crime in itself.

Not ONE has been found to be false! NOT ONE!
So I am confident that his book will continue on with the same impecable honesty that's earned him great respect.
But maybe it WILL reveal some lies that have been told by some in the media.. and elsewhere, but isn't that what we want..the truth??

I have found too that many stories have been riddled with inaccuracies, lack credibility and/or verifiable substance. The world may be waiting for Schapelle to confess but either way, it won't alter her situation. I find it curious that while the supporters always answer the questions posed by the "guilty" crowd, they never respond to the questions posed by supporters. Instead they respond by throwing out more questions that are based on misinformation. The reason why everyone has an opinion on this case is because the facts were not allowed to be presented. Therefore, the astute will reason that the evidence never supported Schapelle's guilt. Otherwise we would be discussing evidence and facts rather than opinion. The obvious logic of this is a basic test of intelligence. Those who benefit by portraying Indonesia as a "vibrant democracy" - this illusion will fail and the corrupt will be remembered. It is the nature of history.

Wow nobull1967, forget conspiracy theories, just seek the truth. Why was Corby not allowed to have the marijuans tested to see where it came from? A simple test by the AFP could have confirmed that. Why did the police fail to test the plastic bag for her fingerprints? Why was the total baggage not weighed to compare with the checkin weight? I do not know who put the drugs in her bag, but I would certainly like answers. The Indonesian police said the marijuana was from Australia. Clairvouyants?

Space bags are fairly common, so it wouldn't be hard for someone to wait for a unlocked bad to come through that was about the same size. I think better questions to ask are 1) if she was guilty, why hasn't there been a full investigation into exactly how she was able to get 10lbs of pot through TWO major Australian aiports? 2) Why isn't either Australian or Indonesia interested in where the drugs came from? And I believe it was Kathryn Bonella who approached the Corby's about writing a book.

nobull1967, Bakir's motive for becoming involved with the Corby case was first and foremost to make money from Schapelle's fame as a celebrity prisoner. Tony Wilson's motive on the other hand, was first and foremost to expose the gross miscarriage of justice that has occurred to Schapelle Corby, something that no other journalist has been prepared to do. That he will make some money along the way there is no doubt, but considering he has just lost his job, one would hardly deny him that.

Corby's trial by media in Australia was as unethical as her show trial in Bali, with far less excuse. Well done Mr. Wilson for being nearly the only exception. Her detractors don't realise it, but the story of her obvious innocence has successfully crossed the pond to North America; the lies and invective following it have not. The smear campaign can't hide the truth for much longer. You will thank Mr. Wilson in the long run for upholding what's left of the honor of Australian journalism.

Pinkgarterbelt, money has nothing to do with integrity usually, but in this instance Wilson threatened Bakir and accused him of using Scahpelle to make money for himself. Maybe he just beat Wilson to it and that is what made him attack Bakir, or is it a case of "do as I say, not as I do"? Either way, it doesn't smell like the act of a man with any integrity does it?

The Aust. media have waged war on the Corby family since Schapelle's conviction.Apart from some wild claims by Malcolm McCauley (who has now been totally debunked by associates and police)we still don't know where the mj came from let alone how Schapelle intended to unload it in Bali.I can't wait to read Tony Wilson's new book.I hope it will give some prominent Australians the courage to speak out for Schapelle and condemn the witch hunt that seems to be designed to sell slow weekend newspapers.

And when I say investigate, I mean read her book, read blogs on the subject, and read the vast store of material available on the Schapelle Corby support forum. If more journalists were to investigate and report on the REAL Hidden Truths in the Schapelle Corby case, the view of the Australian public would be completely different to what it is now. I cannot commend Tony Wilson highly enough for being the ONE journalist prepared to do so. Good on him!!

Why is it that so many of the people who post comments on the web do so with absolutely NO regard for the truth. If the Corbys were so bad, why could Channel 7 find not one shred of real evidence to back up the pack of lies spun by Jodie Power? The same goes for the rubbish claims by that Trembath guy, and Malcolm McCauley - all totally discredited. Obviously Tony Wilson has inside knowledge of the real facts, and his book should make fascinating reading.
