  • In our swamps in the teutoburger wald we only find broken roman weapons...I want to find tanks xD

  • Very sad to see T-34 with natzi cross. I try to imagine the feeling than you wish pull away russian tank with red star and see this cross. It shows how many battle ready tanks and other stuff was just levied by their crews without fight. It sad to understand how Suvorov and Solonin right in their analysis.

  • Let the borsch drain from the carbs, and I bet she fired right up!

  • It's a captured T-34

  • @AntikerSG1 yes sir

  • but nazihate T-34 they said its crudly made?

  • Take down the hand break!

  • Love to see things recovered like that.. Props to whomever took the original video.

  • @surgechecker18 You are not supposed to discuss anything if you did not read "Archipelag GULAG" documentary book with the evidence about BOLSHEVIKS exterminating 80 MILLION Slavs from 1917 till 1953. That is what we call REAL HOLOCAUST!

  • @kozjevime1 you are just stupid. The facs that you divide soviet people by "slavs" and "not slavs" proves: you are nazi. You hate russians and red army and communist, because you lost. If you were not anti-soviet idiot, you would find reliable sources(even Solzhenicin didn't claim 80mln). And by the way Stalin purges stopped in 1950s but surprisingly number of "poor victims" is still increasing; especially today.

  • @ShitFromTransASS So you're saying Stalin was a good guy because he only had 30 million people tortured and killed? Stalin did more to destroy the USSR than Hitler.

  • i like to go to swamps and look for tanks as well..

  • it was in mud in a second war world ?????

  • this is a german 38t light tank very very similar to a t - 34

  • @joshcilldara11

U'r making such a fool out of yourself

  • @Teunioss

haha YOUR OR YOU ARE , U'R means nothing just horrible use of the english language ;)

oh and also prove me wrong it has the german iron cross painted on its side emphasise the GERMAN not RUSSIAN the germans did have a 38t light tank i dont know if it was a copy of the t34

so im happy to say your making a total fool of yourself :)

  • @joshcilldara11

    Omg.... R'U an idiot?

Its a T-34 captured by germans with an Iron cross painted on it...

    ......

  • @joshcilldara11 Your are fu*king nuts read more books before talking about history go to Beutepanzer have a look

  • @joshcilldara11

    *sighs*

The 38t was a Skoda, made in Cz and pressed into service by the Germans, It was a light/medium tank and by the days standards as good as anything else the Germans used Pz II and early III's. THIS is a T34/76.

  • @joshcilldara11 Also the T-34 was captured and WIDELY used by axis forces, thus the iron cross. Don't bother reading books, just look this stuff up on wikipedia.

  • @joshcilldara11 38t was roughyly half the size of the t-34, predated it by nearly 2 years, did not feature sloped or welded armor and was designed and built by the Czech's.

  • weren't they worried that they'd find dead bodies in it? lol

  • Looking at the cupola closely I'd almost say that it's been taken off either a Panzer III or a Panzer IV. Most likely salvaged from a knocked out german tank and attached to the T-34 as a field improvization, since the T-34 lacks a cupola of its own.

  • What's interesting is that the commanders cupola (the little raised area where the commander pops out of the hatch, with vision slits 360 degrees around it so the commander can look around without popping up) is actually a german model that's been added after capture. So this tank is special.

  • It's a captured Soviet T-34-76.

The T-34 was introduced into service barely in time for the german invasion of the USSR. It was well armored, and was only vulnerable to the brand new 50mm Pak 38 guns, and only when firing AP40 special ammunition. The first version was armed with a 76mm gun, as seen here. This tank was captured by the germans and marked with the Iron Cross to prevent friendlies accidentally mistaking them for the enemy. The Aussies did the same with captured italian tanks.

  • holy shit , it looks in great condition...

  • amazing

  • Use the force!

  • SO COOL.

  • What? People actually think this tank is running it's motor?

  • @csmaster65 а почему бы и нет? машина находилась в безвоздушной среде, детали не портились - мотор перебрать и запустить вполне реально.

  • Прикольно.т-34 с немецкими крестами и состояния его отличное

  • @83ls no crap, the diesel sound isnt from this tank, it is from whatever is pulling it out of the swamp!

  • Captured Russian T-34 as used by the Waffen SS...

    battle of Kursk

    battle of Normandy

    Warsaw Uprising

    SS anti-partisan actions in Yugoslavia

  • Comment removed

  • @bayyagg No, it's a T34/76

  • Comment removed

  • hmmm... yep ur right! its a 76!

    my mistake!

    The turret is 1943 model!

  • its a captured t-34 by the germans..

  • Germans or Kaminski brigade, 29th waffen, Russia? They had 24 T34 and T 70 tanks in the various states of disrepair.

  • My mistake. Estonian legion then.

  • I can imagine the day they drove the tank in the swamp. "Damn it! where the hell did the swamp come from!"

  • lol that's funny

Not to be a smartass, but what probably happened was they ran out of fuel while they were retreating and ditched it in the lake on purpose to prevent the Russians from recapturing it.

  • what the fuck???

    t34 whith this symbol?

  • its russian T-34 with german symbol

  • dude its a t-34. the nazis probably captured it and marked it with their own markings so that the other german tanks didnt blow them to smithereens

  • Comment removed

  • it's a Russian tank with a German symbol.

  • That is definitely a Russian tank.

Looks like a T-34 with a 76 mm gun, which was the most common Russian tank of the war- they made 10's of thousands of them.

Probably captured by the Germans and reused with German markings.

They made so many of these things that some countries were still using upgraded versions of them into the 1990's.

  • Ruskie dzbany to mają farta, odrazu cały czołg:/

  • Russian? Ok, tank of Adolf Stalin.

  • i dont know tanks...is this a WW2 era tank???

  • it's a russian T-34 that must've been captured and painted with the nazi emblem. It's definetly a russian tank, though.

  • ITS NOT fake. These Mud holes can preserve anyhting

  • and it still works!

  • HAHAHA

  • Russians... :D

  • It Doesent Work Its Being Pulled Out By

A Bulldozer. The Tracks Are Seized Solid

  • Extreme fishing. Do the tanks get restored and placed in museum?

  • most of the time they do. and if they are too damaged they give spare parts to other recovered tanks.

  • if this is a russian tank why does it have a german cross on it?

  • hi frallan this tank was capture by the german and it was used against the red army.

  • It was captured by the Germans then painted with German colors to prevent friendly fire. The story is that when it was low on fuel they simply drove it into a lake.

  • @frallan747

because it was captured and used by the Germans - says Captain Obvious.

  • Paint looks too fresh and how do the road wheels turn so easily for something that been in there for 60 years?

  • There's a world of difference between fresh water and salt.

  • if you look the tracks are jammed solid, it's being dragged out.

  • Wonder how the hell they found this?

  • a kid found it

  • Go to google, search for "militaarne hiiumaa t 34". Pick the first title!

    It was recovered in Estonia.

  • NOT TRUE!

  • 100% true

  • It must be a captured T34 repainted by the germans. You can clearly see that it is a T34 model 76.

  • Since late 1941, captured T-34/76 tanks were transported to a workshop in Riga for repairs and modifications, while in 1943, Mercedes-Benz in Marienfelde and Wumag in Goerlitz (now Zgorzelec) were also repairing and modifying T-34s as well. Captured T-34/76 tanks were modified to German standards by installation of commanders cupola, radio equipment along with other non-standard field modifications made during service by the their new owners.

  • the germans captured a lot of them, but they didnt use them in battles, cuz they where to buisy to repait their own tanks than loosing time for russian tanks!

  • ummm why do they only show when they're pulling it out and not digging it out? Where's that video?

  • Looks like a t34c in good condition.

    Beautiful!

  • Google can show more complete film and follow-up....It said that they cleaned it up and were able to get the Diesel engine running again without replacing any part!....the bog preserved the tank without any rust...fuel was gone but all oil and lube remained. They had to replace bearings (I am guessing due to dragging out of mud?)....Elsewhere are photos of the tank with the turret removed and process of restoration to complete operating condition and display...

  • There are 250.000 comments on YOU TUBE this Russian T34 "Nazi" tank but no comment from the person who was "FILMING". Its fake, restored T34 got bogged in. No Oxygen, no rust Blah Blah. The guy steering has a German WW2 cap on in part 2 of film they are reconstruction players, there are bubbles in Loch Ness Scotland but no Monster

  • Wow a original T-34/76 model. A rare find seeing that most were upgraded to the 85 model.

When you watch war movies they are alway's the T-34/85 model that is used even when the movie takes place before 1944.

  • CORRECTION it is a Soviet tank. I know it has the German ID marker but it apears the Germans used it in service in WW2. look up T-34 on the web, I did and thats what it is telling me...

  • the germans loved to use the t-34, and they did whenever they captured them. even when they got the awesome panther and tiger tanks, they liked to use t-34 in addition since the vast majority of their machines were still inferior pz4s or even pz 3s (like at kursk).

  • Why, is the T-34 stronger, more monervable, faster? I know they were nutorious for the one of their own tanks can't remember which. One of them could shoot through a brick building almost about a block long and take out a patton tank. But why faver the Ruski T-34....I am just cerious now...

  • the t-34 was much, much better in ALL parameters except crew comfort and perhaps optics than the Pz 4 and Pz 3 medium tanks of all variants. these medium tanks formed the vast majority of the german armed forces. we always see and read about tigers and panthers because they are powerful, amazing in the sense of engineering, and feared. but only a few thousand were made of each kind-not enough to go around by any means. the germans were forced to stick with pz4, which they replaced with t34 often

  • ok that makes sense, thankyou..

  • right! thats not a russain tank! wrong! thats not a nazi cross! that is a regular german ID marker like how we used the white star. Nazi ID's on tanks was the SS marker. and the tanks were black I think.

  • dumbass its just been captured.

  • Yeah guys, during WW2 with Russia in 1941 Nazis captured the hole factories of russian tanks full of it, this tank was captured and marked.

If you don't believe me! Read or watch video of German veterans.

  • @ hound12314

Everyone sees that is a russian tank that has been captured and painted ...

  • J3V16 Write:

From February to September 1944, heavy battles were fought in the narrow, 50

km-wide, Narva front in the north-eastern part of Estonia. Over 100,000 men

were killed and 300,000 men were wounded there. During battles in the summer

of 1944, this tank was captured from the Soviet army and used by the German

Army. (This is the reason that there are German markings painted on the

    tank's exterior.)

  • ma15r12ko78 Write:

This is a captured Russian T-34/76 . The tell-tale sign is the commander's turret, not present on Russian T34s untill 1944 (T-34/85), but fitted to the tanks captured and used by Germans as early as 1942.

  • lol, read before posting something.... like some guys say: thats a Soviet T-34, why have an cross in it? easy.. was a T-34 captured by germany... a really good tank, it works... lets use it.

  • Its a russian T-34 used by german troops, look ak the balkenkreuz sign

  • once, in 1943, during operation Barbarossa, the Germans fielded a whole combat group of stolen t-34 tanks, so yeah, its a stolen Russian tank

  • Blyat pochemy sdes' stolko ebonatov (why are there so many fucking retards here?!! Eto chistoy masti (it's non other then the) captured russian T-34 tank that was obviously used by the German side hence the cross!!

  • The poster of this video is truly an idiot. Russian tanks have a red star and Germans had a cross.

  • Just so you know. this was a russian tank that got captured by the germans, hence the logo. That is clearly a t-34 anyways.

  • @yuna238

    The idiot here is you.

This is indeed a Russian T-34-76 captured by the Germans and used by them before it ended up in the swamp.

Damn, how can you not recognise the outlines of the best tank of WWII?

  • Что за тупарье.Могут только крестик от звездочки отличить,зато беруться тип танка определять.Любому мало мальски знакомому с военной техникой человеку сразу видно,что это Т-34.

  • It's a PanzerKpfw 747 (r). (A T-34 captured by the Wehrmacht.)

  • its a PnzKw V Panther, everyone can see tthat

  • Wow, Its obviously not, its a captured T-34 Burud123 is right this looks nothing like a panther it's way to small Im Stationed at Ft.Knox and they have a couple of panthers here at the Patton museum a panther with the Porsche turret is twice the size of this T-34 look up google images this is in no way a Panther.

  • I cant see it. Looks like a T-34 to me.

  • CptStarks101, I sure hope your not a Captain you sound stupid, as in many cases of war the enemy will capture enemy vehicles/planes/tanks for use or research to develop better all around weapons this was very common during WWII especially with Germany's factories under constant bombing by the allies, they basically got to a point where they used what they could find, read a little people.

  • Its a T34 PanzerKpfw 747. The T34s were mass produced to such an extent they were found on virtually every battlefield on eastern europe, many of which were captured and put to use by the Germans. The captured tanks were redesignated the PzKpfw 747 and put the iron cross on, which this one is.

  • i know i spelled which wrong

  • it does look like a T34 on a video(wich showed the front) but it looks like a panther too.

  • its a panther lol

  • Panther was a copy made better of t-34. But they dont look that much same do they? Clearly a T-34.

I can imagine the story behind this episode. a hasty retreat/run away. Dont leave anthing useable behind. Would have been great irony if russians captured a captured t-34 and turned it against previous owners.

  • if its a russian tank(wich it isnt)why does it have a german sign on it?lol

  • its a German Panzer tank because it has the blue iron cross which every german tank had.

  • i mean a light german tank (early one)

  • T34/76. Balken cross is a forgery added to tank add value.

  • Except that it is a Panzer.

  • its a T34

  • Андрей! Где это чудо выкопали?

Сами участвовали в операции по подъёму?

  • Germany used many captured Soviet tanks, this is a T-34 in German markings, dumped in the lake during the German retreat

  • It is obviously a T-34 with the smaller turret & a 76mm gun. I always thought these looked better than the later ones with the bigger turret & 85mm gun, like they were doing 30 mph standing still. The Germans used lots of captured equipment, Russian, French, British. Doesn't it look great though? how'd you like to find one of these in your fish pond..

  • i would love to hahaha

  • This seemed to be a russian tank like the T-34 there are captured by german forces in WW2. The sign on the tower is the "Balkenkreuz". The germans sunk the tank later because they have no ammunition and fuel for it. It excist a book about the tanks that germany captured, It calls: Beutepanzer unterm Balkenkreuz.

  • it isnt a T-34, i think its a SdKfz 171 "Panther", but i am not shure, couse its alillte too short i think oO.

an anny couse, its a german tank

  • Watch out, it might be a boobie trap!!!

  • That is definately a T-34/76. I guess a model 42 or 43. Captured T-34's were eagerly put to use by the Germans, called PzKw 34.

  • it's Ukrainian tank idiot

  • I just read a war mag about the recoverery of this t34 from the swamp, was was cleaned up good and repaired and look very good.

  • Ausgezeichnet!!!

  • 100th tiger devisions east 9 tiger devisions west ob beach 571 germans 10.000 us troops 80000 t-34s 4017 tiger tanks

  • Tha'ts right, the wehrmacht used these tanks under the name of Pz. 747(r), 22 of them were part of "Heeresgruppe Mitte" in June 1943. Heavier tanks like the KW-1 were also used, but only few. See (in brackets because of crappy youtube) lexikon-der-wehrmacht-(dot)de(slash)Waffen(slash)beutefahrzeuge(dot)htm

  • This medium battle tank is a Beutepanzer (trophy/captured tank) from the "Grossdeutschland" PzGdr Division and can be identified as being a Soviet-made 1943 T-34/76E which is recognisable by a 1943 hexagonal turret and by the 1943 main production commander cupola. After resting at the bottom of a tiny Johvian Estonian lake for 56 years and after being pulled out of it on 2000/09/14, this T-34/76E still had oil in it and, after a small repair, it was still able to start its diesel engine.

  • kingtiger was a LOT better tank than T-34. Russians just made so many of them so fast. Germans couldn't keep up...

  • Same with the Ronson...er, Sherman!

Americans made so goddamn many of em we could have flooded Germany in Tanks, Halftracks, Jeeps, Trucks, Planes, Ships, etc... Just start dumping raw steel on Berlin and don't stop!

  • it's Russian tank. very powerful. Germanians tried to create a better tank then this and they created panzertiger. But t-34 was better tank anb maybe the best

  • And there was another vid that showed exactly the same thing but said it was German. Do you not see the white cross on it stupid!

  • All this talk of Russian Peice of crap? It was way ahead of it's time in it's day! Pretty good shape for being in a peat bog for 65 yrs!And had thicker armour then the Sherman.

  • t34 mode 43 captured and used by the germans

  • You are an idiot.

  • They still are a dime a dozen. Cuba still has about 300 if I remember correctly. Maybe we will be able to get them for 300$ at our local big 5 before long.

  • lol, that would be cool!

  • EN NU EEN WOTKA a.u.b ;)

  • yeah surprisingly in good shape thats probably been there since 1944 lol hard to believe:p

  • that's a fucking nazi tank you moron look at the symbol on the turret!

  • its not a nazi tank, its a rusian tank but it was taken over by germans who then drove the hole thing into a swamp...

  • man your a retard.....the germans might have captued it..........its clearly a T-34

  • any bodies found inside ?

  • T-34 built so solidly that Gremans captured and used them whenever possible

  • how did it get there O.o

pretty amazing that its still in a good shape after being in a swamp for so long, even the tires where still in tact

  • it was there because german soldiers were very stupid and didn't know how to drive, we have in my land where I live, many tanks in lakes and swamps but we can't get them out because of our law :(

  • or its because they were operating a machine they weren't fully trained to use..

  • i heard that they actually got the original engine in this to start.

  • Must have been a bulldozer towing that thing out.

  • The first time I saw the video was on a different website.

  • haha indeed, german mark on turret. bazinazi russians hehehe!

still looking in good shape doesnt it?

  • Hubo muchos T-34 utilizados por los alemanes, en realidad usaron todos los que pudieron. Nadie mejor que ellos para reconocer la superiodidad del T-34.

  • do you know the story on how it got there and where it was located. I didnt look to close at it, all I looked at was the german mark on the turret. thanks

  • its a german tank

  • полюбой в России снимали, но танк фашистский, тигр или ферденандт, хз, в танках не разбираюсь, но то, что не советский - стопудова. гитлеровская машина, крест там, конструкция, все дела.

filmed in Russia, by Russians, but the tank is German. form is european, and look at the cross for instance. nazi's leftover.

  • и мы на своей земле находим такие реликвии. это, кстати, внатуре круто!

  • It has been in there awhile. Notice the tracks are seized.

  • thats a captured Russian T-34 used by the germans and sank by them in the swamp when they retreated. The tank was recovered not too long ago. Trust me, this is an authentic video. The Tank is real 60+ y.o. WWII veteran...

  • do a search for part 3 of this recovery. You will see one of the recovery team wearing a WW2 German uniform... I bet it was lost accidentaly during a reenactment show. can't believe anything metal can survive 60 plus years in a lake/pond without a single spot of rust. wishful thinking though
