@shreddamon on the first day of skating you go to "testing" where you just skate for your counselor for like 30 seconds. then they put you in a skill group of people who are around your skill level and every day you have to go with that group and your teacher to skate with them for like an hour. it really doesnt matter because you can skate with whoever you want for the rest of the day
