  • Yeah, traffic in China is pretty crazy. However, it is quite safe because everyone drives very slowly, so accidents are rare. I experienced the craziness of crossing streets myself in Zhengzhou, and it took a couple of times before I had the courage to cross streets by myself lol.

  • no wonder they need flying cars

  • The traffic is madness!

    Madness?

    THIS.

    IS.

    CHINA!!!

  • look at all that Husle and Bustle

  • M from Cambodia... I've never seen anything like this in my country... Even cambodia is a third world country... we're way more organized than this!!

  • @TheChobbypheak ur comparision sounds so honest

  • This country needs its population to go back to 100,000 and start all over again.

  • it's normal for us

  • Dutch! No wonder you can write english so well. Sorry about the extremists in your country. The Netherlands use to be a great country to visit. Just don't feel safe there anymore.

  • @rbh1138 Hi there. The Netherlands are still a very safe place to visit. When visiting Amsterdam, it's important to watch out for pickpockets. But hey: you should be aware of them in any major city on the planet. What stops you from feeling safe?

  • @rbh1138 I bet he can write in better English then you can write in proper Dutch mate. If you think that Holland is full of extremists because you've seen one guy with big blond hair say stupid things you are letting your opinion be formed by a select media like television which is probably censored by your government. Compared to the rest of the world, Holland is still a safe place to be. But hey...we got past the whole "dancing on wooden shoes and windmill stuff"hehehe

    Ohyeah!Crazy traffic:P

  • The guy talking isn't Russian. Sounds like he is from Sweden or Iceland. Its obviously scandinavian. Maybe Dutch. Its got that germanic sound to it. Anyway Yes the traffic is a bit crazy but that's the way it is in most asian countries. They have alot of people. Thats just the way it is.

  • I'm not Russian... check your facts...

  • @KijkMijDan : I really want to say thanx to u, I am from harbin, and i know it is disturbing for a high developed country like Nederlands, I am sorry for that, Chinese people used to be courteous 1000 years ago,and we have big influence in Japan and south korea, all their atiquette is from ancient China, but we abandon it for invasion of mogolian and machurian which are ethnics that are barbaric, and ruined our traditions, it is just like euro look Russian is a country with barbaric.

  • @KijkMijDan : I think the dutch people should help harbinese to build a good regulation for the next generations, Heilongjiang province is really big, even as large as france, so I really think that dutch has a great chance to invest their tech and money here to construct another nederlands in China, than u for ur vcr. I am not ashamed of it, it shows that we have great room to make a progress from developed thinkings and education.

  • perhaps chaotic is a better word...

  • @KijkMijDan: Goed! dank u wel!

  • crazy´´????????

  • most part of harbin is not like this, harbin is a beautiful city

  • It is absolutely chaotic... However, no accidents took place.. Isn't that amazing? hehe

  • Hey, guys, I've lived in Harbin for several years and I just leave harbin for 3 months. I'm sure the traffic in this is junction not like this anymore. You see the traffic light was stop working that day in this video. But in fact, it is seldom stop working i'm sure. And I want to tell you that this is not a main road of Harbin although many cars passing here. And it has been getting much better than this.

And why don't you take some videos from those most main roads which are orderd?

  • i can't take more video's, because i'm more than 10.000 km away.... i was just there for a short holiday

  • ok, if you just stand there and take the video and then leave without see anywhere else, i'll forgive you. Otherwise, I think you are a extremist. You can't judge a city with such a small crossing. in fact, Harbin is not chaos.

  • I don't judge... i only place a movie from this crossing online. I don't make judgements.. no need to feel offended...

we have had an excellent time in China! It is a very nice country....

  • Shame on you ! I thought Russians were nice to our Chinese, but it turns out that you stupid fool shot such nonsense video to embarrassing us, how fucking douche you are!

  • Hey, maybe if I honk my horn a lot it will help!

  • Where's the traffic signals?

  • They ignore them...

  • Oh... Well, if they have accidents and people die.

    What can I possibly say?

Seriously, China's road rules are fucked!

  • OMFG ! No rules at all ? I wonder how many accidents or deaths on the road ? Perhaps this system works better than western road rules , I don't know.

  • i'm just back from Haer'bin^^ it was even crazier there in fact!! roads were ice burnt and too many lik-shas(cyclos). i thought it was crazy at first.. but people there seemed to get used to such things^^ i realised that their city is not so beautiful as it's said, but it has much more than the boring cleanliness. more complex and complicated. this is a great compliment for the Haer'bin city people. they're so much tough and natural-born. i love Haer'bing that's why.

  • thx for this video

im from harbin and i thought that's crazy too

    lol

  • Not friend, then anemy

  • Statement: I don't like foreigners criticize my country and my people, and I guess you do too. I also don't abuse my country and my people base on lies. I only want to be a true China including past and present objectively reported before world. I hate People demoralize my country and my culture. They are abusing my most kind folker in the world.

  • Zhaoyichun...Chill out buddy....

  • I knew that's true, and I promised I can solve it. I just hate double standard, and some hypocrisy guys faked themselves on the height of morals. I hate also media they do lie and cheated people in the world. they did and they are doing it. That's why I hate any potentials demoralizing china.

  • You neeed to understand that for us, China is a whole different world!!! We're not criticizing but just pointing out our cultural differences.

I was in Harbin 2 years ago and the place drove me crazy. The honking, the noise, the mass of ppl, it was insane!!!

And of course, seeing how big of a mess traffic is is kinda funny for us...

No one's hating buddy. China's been through glorious times but...like everything else, it changes. The rich and getting richer and the poor are left to themsleves

  • crazy traffic is not caused by culture difference, just because China car sale increased 25% each year in recent 5 years. public traffic system need to catch up the boom of car consume. People need to be educated to follow traffic rules. nothing is related with Chinese culture. when Chinese culture has been formed since 3000 years ago, at that there was no cars at all at that time.

  • That's my homies... People, Harbin is a beautiful city with wonderful people and crazy traffic.. Why are you so mad about this video? I didn't see anything wrong there.

  • I did not mean to critize your hometown. Or country. In my opinion it's just a funny, short clip.

I think Harbin is a very nice city. Especially the big park on the other side of the river. That's a beautifull park.

  • Thanks for your friendly reply. It's the first positive reply in a long while... my movie seems to upset a lot of people. Of course that my was never my objective. It was intended to be a funny video.

  • We great Chinese and our great Civilization are the root of those Barbarians, we don't need to be jealous of anybody. we believe in our own strength and capacity. We have been great for thousands of years. we, Chinese, did face challenges in only recent 200 years. We are getting glory back, just a later on.

  • pongqi why would chinese be jealous of koreans and japanese

their best cities are tokyo and seoul and both dont compare to shanghai

    pfft

  • We great Chinese and our great Civilization are the root of those Barbarians, we don't need to be jealous of anybody. we believe in our own strength and capacity. We have been great for thousands of years. we, Chinese, did face challenges in only recent 200 years. We are getting glory back, just a later on.

  • Please leave time for us to wake up and change our mind. You are always welcome to Harbin and China.

  • Thanks. We felt welcome in Harbin. A nice city. China is a great country with a lot of potential. I never imagined that people would be offended by this clip. It wasn't my intent. I just think it's a funny clip. No more, no less. I don't judge the people of Harbin. They are great. I had a good time there and hopefully will return there some day.

  • I used to watch CNN and BBC everyday, and I knew how they made news on China. That's really a way immoral. The same way like this, showing only negative sides of China, and only criticisms, demoralizing Chinese people. Why they do that? they treat us as enemies.

  • Having look through the comments, what can I say? Thanks KijkMijDan,I am from Harbin, when I watching the video,I felt that I go back to my hometown.everything is familiar. Please do not mind the abuses,The video shows the truth in my hometown. I cannot see you have any offence to Harbin.Because of the media control by the government, and the way we receive education in china, most of us like listening to good news,we don't like people showing any bad side about china even it is true.

  • you are naive, you dont know west. I live in western country for 9 years. I knew them very well, they don't know the truth about China, their media only make negative report on china, that's true abuse on chinese people and culture. that's why hate it. those negative things. look how they lied on Tibet. stop being naive. there is only competitions.

  • its interesting to go through the comments from both sides and also its good to show the patriotism...i am on his side that if somebody show bad about your country ,wouldn't u have defended..many chinese cities like shanghai, beijing , hongkong can be compared to the cities of the developed countries and why dont u just put the traffic videoes of those cities.... why harbin?? why u just trying to show how bad traffic harbin has?

  • And Harbin do have good traffic in many many streets.

  • you should delete this video, otherwise you will be deleted

  • Excuse me? Why should i delete this video. I shot it myself on vacation...

  • excuse me? what's your aim to shot this video and show it around. i have promised already you that I will solve it. Then I, and we Harbin residence have been already informed. Is there any need to put it here still?

  • It's a funny vid, and nice to watch.. just like the thousand of other 'crazy traffic' vids

  • Just like your grand-father did, very funny and ridiculous. You should not surprise at all. Even until 17th century Paris is still dirty city. In 12th century, China already built very great city with many basic modern elements.

  • Your an idiot! I live in Harbin and its a crazy, filthy place! Yes people are wonderful but the traffic is unbelievable and there is shit all over the place. Dont you dare compare Paris with the toilet cities of China. The posters aim was to let Global citizens see the absolute lack of civility on Chinese streets!

  • Without doubt, you are Korean. Please learn to be polite when you talk with others. You also don't exactly get my meaning in English in the previous post. In the 17th century, Paris is indeed not a nice place, Korea is not nice place too. I hope you could become smart, and learn to be civilized mentally first.

  • Again your an idiot, well ofcourse your Chinese! Iam a Canadian, Not Korean, but I have lived in Korea for two years and let me tell you Korea has surpassed the dumps the Chinese cities of today face! Do not compare dirty, unsanitary China with developed, civilized countries! Your comparing China with 17th century Europe! Its now the 21st Century! Shut up and face reality, your country is way behind and the jealousy of Korea and Japan just eats at you each day you step on the street.

  • Again,Naive and simple one. you don't need worry .if Korean can do it, we must can do it. I know the reality, 30 years more, we are the super again in the 21th century.

  • I am wondering your IQ and your english level. if you r native speaker, you should understand my sentence. I don't need compare today China with the 17th century Europe! I am not that idiot as you, because it cannot prove anything. You are Korean, I am very sure. You just have Canadian passport,

  • I am telling him there is no nation and civilization who can stand before world. for instance, south Korean which used be a nation without any civilization and far behind world. In the past 50 years, South Korea also did something under help of US and Jap. So nothing is permanent. Shit could become follower, follower could become shit. All things in a cycle. That's the world.

  • No Im sure Im not a Korean with a Canadian passport, thats the Chinese job to escape the dump and immigrate to the land of the free and civilized. The point is Chinese cities are filthy and lack civility and order, Harbin is one of the many, Harbin is a dump. Stop defending. Great I hope China can develop and become civilized, but it will never match that of Korean or Japanese standard for the Chinese manner and character is lacking. By the time China has reach environment will be destroyed

  • It's not your great hope, which is happening in the real life. Everybody is seeing the rapid change there. I don't need defend for it.

  • I can see you are not civilized at all from your posts here. Everyone has shortcomings, you too and your countries. That's not a nice and civilized people's behaviour to make fun of others on their shortcomings. especailly, these are temperal. We are used to be great, we will be great agian and for ever.

  • no matter where you are from. I can judge you are a loser. you are not well-educated without a good family education. You need to learn to be a good behaviour man first, then go to be civilized. Your parents should tell you how to love others, and being a nice man. My great hope they have could done it.

  • By looking at your favourites i can tell that you are such an douche bag, why dont you pull your toungue out of the american's arsehole, you silly south korean fuck.

  • i like it

  • I hate it

  • we did too... it's often dangerous for pedestrians to cross the street...

  • I am sorry for that! Hopefully someday I can do sth to change it in my hometown. The people there are very nice, but they should be told to follow rules.
