I'll miss so much his interviews, he was so funny and interesting, oh God i miss him already, i can't stop thinking about him and how the tennis will be without him. Please come back marat i'm not ready to lose you!!!!!!!!!
he would have been 18 i think back then, still learning the game. By the end of 06 he had become a top 20 player and marat was below him, Quite symbolic that.
I agree with Safin being good enough to beat Federer and very talented but like I said earlier he isn't great because of his mental breakdowns. Mental strength is a huge factor in tennis.I disagree with you on Nadal not being great the guy has 5 grand slams man and hes only 22! I agree on the power game, I find his game pretty though he hits impossible shots at the corners and converts them to winners.
safin is one of the greatest talents in tennis. he's as talented as Federer, and much more talented than Nadal. his problems stem from a combination of not staying mentally confident and focused during a match and injuries that really hurt his career. he proved himself at wimbledon 2008. Federer playing at his best couldn't beat him at AO 2005. he has the talent to beat anybody
Nadal despite his wimbledon victory, I would say he's a great athlete, but I don't think he's on of the great tennis players. he just has the ability to run, hit, run, hit, no real grace, beauty or intelligence in his shotmaking. just pure grinding and running. his knees are already breaking down. his style isn't sustainable.

theres a difference between a good player and a great player and Federer and Nadal are the only great players that are there...
