I'm quite convinced the writing staff for this show consisted of:

-A group of writers on acid

-A group of writers on barbiturates

-A group of writers on amphetamines

It explains how nonsensical this show is. I mean yeah it's a kid's show so it's supposed to be random, but this is nuts. I remember watching an episode of this show while in Mexico. Having consumed several different mind-altering substances at the time, the show not only seemed to make more sense, but was utterly hilarious.

Guys, I don't think the Banana Splits was shot on Digital Video. I think Hanna Barbera - Time Warner was trying out a Banana Splits remake only a few years ago. If you look at real Banana Splits footage from the 1960's it looks kind of green and old. This looks too new.

Even many years after Fleegle's death I find it sad. He used to have an email list about the Banana Splits that I subscribed to. I do have Bingo as a Facebook "friend". They, and Drooper are brothers in real life, at least the ones behind the costumes. The voices are a different matter. I always liked this show.

But I'm open to the doors of perception/possibility even regards to a child's show. Our brains all react differently in regards to stimuli response--10 people watching a show will possibly have 10 different reactions. I loved this show as a kid--sort of frenetic--but fun.
