This is probably an arkward question, but how do hedgehogs smell?
I once had guinea pigs and everyone said guinea pigs smell bad, but they all were astonished because my piggies were always clean and they smelled really, really good! :D
I got him from the petstore. The cost around $200 now (3 years ago he was $179). They're nocturnal but they'll adapt if you play with them during the day. He runs in his wheel 3 hours every night, and he has a large "hamsterbal" he'll run around the living room during the day.
Cat food is not the best nutritionally, but can be a treat. I feed mine Spike's Delight (you can find it on eBay). A couple of times Pig got finicky and I would feed him cat food and slowly mix it back with Spike's until he was eating all Spike's again.

He himself smelled fine, I mean, no smell, but his cage smelled if I didn't clean it every other day, because he pooped a lot. His poop smelled.

Uhm... you said "smelled". That probably means he's gone now. I'm sorry for that. I know how it feels to lose your little fury friend. :(

Yeah, he died about a year and a half ago. Now I have ferrets. I loved my little Pig, but ferrets are way better pets.
