I agree with you, I am a "christian/buddhist" from America and I just visited Istanbul's Blue Mosque and met many believers of Islam while traveling in Turkey the past two weeks. I feel that the Muslim people believe in a very beautiful religion that has many great teachings. I studied Islam while visiting and I attended a prayer in a mosque as well.
