Ok, Theresa was not "gloating." There were tons of times when she gloated about getting Ethan back, but Theresa was not happy about the death of her enemy's child. She told Eve to save WHICHEVER child had the best chance of living. Theresa's indifference to Gwen's pain to due to the fact that the stupid, evil cow got EXACTLY what she deserved.

Didn't Theresa insist on saving her child until she and Ethan decided to let Eve pick whoever had the best chance to survive? It was understandable for her wanting to protect and choose her own child, but she didn't feel any remorse for wanting to get rid of Gwen's baby. She seemed desperate to have a baby with Ethan to win him back and get rid of the one that belonged to her enemy.

Theresa told Eve it was be easier to pick her own child over her enemy's as she asked if she would do the same thing if she was in her shoes. She tried to convince Ethan that their child was more worthy to save since it was conceived by them out of love and he didn't love Gwen. She said she had to use Gwen's baby to get LE back. But her true intentions were getting Ethan back, having his baby, and getting revenge on Gwen to make her suffer aside from getting LE back.

Why karma never bit Ethan? He stood by Gwen and let her destroy Theresa, so he was partly responsible. He knew which woman he loved, but chose not to make the right decisions by being honest enough to leave Gwen and return to Theresa. He was the one who had the power to prevent and stop the feud between two women, but chose to be an idiot instead and let the war go on for almost a decade!

the reason is because secretely he loved having to women fight over him since they were the only ones that gave a shit about him after he was exposed as not being a Crane. When Ethan was a Crane, women through them selves at him, when he was kicked out of the family all that stoped and only Gwen and Theresa remained. This bloody fuede that casued so much pain and even death was all due to Ethan ego. I would bet money on it. Ethan was never upset over the fighting he was flattered.

Ethan also took part in taking LE and Jane away, but Theresa was too blind to see any fault in him as it was much easier to see her enemy at fault for everything. Fighting with Gwen was pointless. Theresa should have fought with Ethan instead because he stayed with Gwen and followed her orders. He was willing to stand letting Gwen destroy her when he could have stopped her. When Gwen had done enough damage, Ethan just stood by her and made excuses for her. So he was just as guilty as she was.

An innocent unborn child's life doesn't deserve to be sacrificed for the mother's wrongdoing. Theresa is gloating at the death of Nathan just because she hates Gwen and is getting revenge on her. Theresa was too brutal and maybe she wanted to be the only woman to bear Ethan's children as she couldn't stand Gwen giving him any.
