This is indeed funny because Rimsky-Korsakov was Prokofiev's teacher in the conservatory, and Prokofiev found the lessons of Rimsky-Korsakov very tiresome.
Maybe the Toccata was an answer to Rimsky-Korsakov's Bumble Bee, but if I had to guess, the Suggestion Diabolique was enough to let Rimsky-Korsakov turn in his grave!
