  • Awesome, Im going to make a skin for Riot. xd

Just because I want to :D

Ill send it to your facebook, maybe you will like it :D

  • What's up with the picture in the left corner behind you :oOooO?

  • good video really helpfull

  • Sooo uhhh looking at pictures of anime huh? :P

  • Wow, I love your enthusiasm! Very... rare, unfortunately. I'll definitely watch all of these! Probably thrice, haha

  • "I believe we've gone, for almost twenty-minutes."

    - Kienan @27:30

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial, just started getting more into drawing and this helped me a great deal ^.^ *gives internet cookie*

  • This is probably one the most enjoyable times I've had watching a tutorial, lol. Thanks for sharing and keeping it interesting. Btw, does it feel awkward when you throw out a little joke and no one laughs besides you because you're alone? >.> Just thought I'd ask because I got very curious over that. Also, they are funny, just fyi. lol Keep'em coming because I must say, you've inspired me, even more.

  • I really enjoy your videos. But I was just wondering what kind of tablet you use.

I think it would be pretty cool if you made a video about layering and coloring in photoshop too.

Its really cool that you are doing all of these though, great job!

  • Thankyou; I haven't been drawing much but I stumbled across you after browsing the LoL forums. I've been aspiring to many of Riot's art and I really wanted to know their techniques. You're work is just amazing and have inspired me to keep drawing. But it's 12:30am and i have school tomorrow (well today) :D. I mostly do portrait art so this has really been helpful. Can't wait till your next vid. You've been very inspirational to me after like 1 hour of watching you xD.

  • Your picture at your wall seems to be shaking. That really distract me while watching!

  • When you started drawing what did you use to draw? What degree did you get? Did you take any classes what so ever? Will you make more tutorials?

  • HEY! I'm a ring-neck chick and I am offended!

Haha nah, kdddin'. Good shit Kienan. :) Keep it up!

  • Push the envelope! Great tut Kienan, I think I am sufficiently hungry to get started drawing again after watching a couple of your videos these past days. I've not had the time to commit myself to anything for a long time, yet I've really been missing it... Who could have known watching a video on youtube could make one realize that - I guess you can call that inspiration! Thx and keep it up :-)

  • Hi :D, was wondering if you could tell us a bit about how you use you wacom tablet (and as well if it is in fact an intuos 4). I just bought mine, I'm in love with it, but I'd like to experiment with several different ways of using it, I'd like to know yours to try it out :)

  • Hey Kienan! Love your daily. I tried to start drawing a while ago, even got a cintiq-tablet, but lost the drive due to lack of inspiration. Your quickshading-daily got me right back up again. Thanks for that! :)

I have a request: It's kind of a spinoff on todays daily. I've been trying to find a good tutorial on how to make smooth realistic skin color/shading. I've seen your work on the more realistic looking LoL-characters and I'm wondering if you can show us how you do the smooth skin?

  • STEP OUT THE BOX!

  • @Pikmeir lol

  • Kind of a strange question..err in photoshop, whats your setting for your wacom? also what Nib are you using? My pressure sensitivity just makes the weight of the lines heavy and light and not transparent.

  • Lol Kienan i luaghed the same time you said "jumbo ears"! Anyways I wouldnt be surprised if this video got 1 mill views or more, keep them coming!

  • wow, i demandz a skin from this!

On a serious note, could you explain your mechanics? (like your brush settings etc...)

Hope you keep doing this because its both entertaining as well as useful ;D

  • @Janprotokovski im pretty sure its the $500 dollar tablet that lets him easily put levels shading like he did on the lines. Also if you look at his settings, his brush is normal so it has to be the pen pressure, hope i cleared a bit :)

  • @jeremyiscoolomg

i think he doesnt use different brushes that much. its just circle Brushes with different hardness, opacity, size and an other color/greytone

  • 'in Photoshop i am having some trouble with brushes...could you show your brushes and maybe how to make useful ones?

  • This is the best drawing tutorial i watched yet

  • @3WWR3 :3 i enjoy Kienan more than Mark Crilley

  • Really nice tutorial man. I wonder why it looks so easy when you do it. Hey i have a question, how do you set the buttons on the pen to modify the size of the brush? I have a wacom bamboo wich is quite a simple tablet but it i should also be able to set them that way.

Anyway thanks and keep up the great job. I still dont get why you dont have a bunch of viewers yet, i mean your art is great and i like to hear you talk about your art and styles and stuff, thanks for sharing that with us. =3

  • *watches Keinan start the face* "hmm that's not so hard"

*watches Keinan make it look like a real face* "ok he's a god"

  • Maybe you don't believe this, but I actually have to do a portfolio in my arts class and the category is human!

I learned so much from this!!

  • Is it a problem if I hand draw it because I don't have a tablet and I'm not that good at photshop yet.

  • @virys96 no hand drawing helps by improving ur skills so u make less mistakes

  • Wow I like this so much! Really helped me a lot!
