  • Wow, yeah, love it!

  • does anyone know where I can get his cds at? and does he always play techno lead stuff on any of his albums all the time? cuz if he does thats awesome, even though I play Guitar this guy is my new influence, if I got a Ztar I could play a Hybrid of Techno and Thrash Metal

  • i despretly want one, but they are way to expensive is there anything that doe's the same sort of thing but for a lot less money, (obviously i wouldn't expect it to be as good)!

  • you are awesome!!! loving that sound!!

  • This dude is a genius for sure! Damn. Awesome.

  • dude u have skill!

  • BLESS YOU MIKE!! YOU STILL THE MAN!

  • Can someone tell me, if you are simply trying to drive midi, why you would choose this over, say, the Yamaha EZ-AG ? There is a huge amount of difference in price, just wondering what one has over the other in terms of playability.

  • There is also the You Rock Guitar, under $200. I have a ztar and it's great, for example you can play above and below the nut -- but a simpler device is fine for many things. I used a Casio DG20 before getting the Ztar.

  • that so amazing

  • Watching your videos makes me miss our gig!!! Our one gig... We need more. :)

  • Easily best Z-tar video on the net, Mr Bianco is a genious!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Hi, Yes you are a musical Genius, I was wondering cause i was intending to buy a kaossilator for my guitar (Not ZTAR) I doubt it has the same sound, but is there any way to find a not so pricy ZTAR?

  • My fear is the long neck on a z7 I've seen all the z6 videos and the z7'z no one reaches for the first fret most don't reach below the 5th fret. I notice the comfort you have when playing wide such as in "Drifting" where you seemlessly access both the upper most and lower most registers.

  • Yes Frets, the Mini-z is very comfortable when placing both hands on the fretboard (without using the string triggers) . I'ts the best for two-handed tapping .... Go For it !

  • would the string triggers get in the way? I'm thinking about getting a ztar.

  • @geoffreyefloyd String triggers are available for the mini-Z ( model shown ) but because of the body design they are placed above the fingerboard (they would get in my way because I don't use string triggers). The Z7-S has the triggers directly in line with the fingerboard which is much more "guitar-like"

  • i see thanks a lot!

  • Another quick question, how's the dynamic range on the ztar? Can you play really soft notes and really loud notes and good resolution in between? How do the buttons feel?

    Thanks, gf

  • @geoffreyefloyd The buttons on all Ztar's are velocity sensitive ( and you can adjust the curves) . Depending on the model the feel of the buttons will vary . But they all feel very natural

  • Thanks!

  • If you get a string trigger model you also have velocity sensitivity for the right hand.

  • yep ztar is a monster!

  • Another amazing example of the mini-z master in action. Funny I have the emu xl-7 as well

Saving my pennies for a mini-z I may just bite the bullet and get a babyz

  • Frets, You should also consider the new Z7S...
