I too am concern with Usain personal. However, after reviewing view points in this thread, I am going to reconsider. Winners should celebrate victories; victories take hard work & dedication. Success comes when you enjoy what you're doing. He should continue to engage the crowd. He should soak in their roars, and let it perpell him forward. As a former athlete, I forgot what the crowd roar brings; courage, determination and want to are all fuel. Athletes' energy.

This is just a way to attract attention from people not interested in the actual sport. The result of this development is: Focus is being placed on what sells, instead of the actual sport itself. All you see on TV is 100m because they act like clowns, long distance races because of its advertising opportunities (as jogging and such is the most practiced sport)...

And no, runners are not the "real attraction", they are just the ones with the commercial value because they happen to do something anyone can do and relate to even if you're an outcast in a crime infested dump.
