Nice try. Tough to do. But I have to wonder if everyone that makes all of these LotRO minstrel vids is "beat deaf." No one seems to be able to keep a beat. I suggest using a metronome in the background when making these to keep the timing right, because most of what's wrong with ALL of these videos is simple atrocious timing.

Do note that they're playing online, so there's a 1-2 second delay. If the person on the right plays a note the person who is recording recieves that later so it's extremely hard to keep a good timing, and since your latency changes all the time.

Edonkey: No actually, there's 2 things you need to check in the audio options of the game that actually FORCE sync the player. If everyone has those options ticked correctly, there shouldn't be any staggering. I'm on the server with Bards of a Feather. They have no staggering issues.

When choosing ABC notation there are usually different parts to play, Stairway to heaven has 6 different parts, so when each sync together, it actually sounds really good, Ill have to post my videos soon. Anywho, they only have 3 people out of the 6, so their parts are more complex, resulting in that sound. Our guild, is very good at this, and we place the LOUD and ugly sounds furthur away so it sounds much better to the people standing closer to us, unfortunate for the lone sole though : )

The music system is great, you use the arrow keys, and ctrl for # and shift ups the octave 1 step (iirc). However attempting to play with a band is nearly impossible due to the lag (it's no more than in other games, but good timing is obviously critical to music).

You're kidding, right? Have you even played Mabinogi? The combat system is so in-depth and complex, and the story is amazing. In fact, the reason I play it is because it drives all the idiots and little kids away because you have to actually think about what you're doing when you fight, learn the enemy's fighting patterns and make your own techniques. I don't know much of the music system in LOTRO but there's often gatherings in towns playing really good music, and it's fun to join in.
