  • 阿生啊, 事業線唔係長就大嗮噶, 係要深同埋夠弧度啊

  • it should be spelled as 'C Yip Seen'

  • HAH!!! This was a cool video session, ur trip. I've been watching your videos back to back and ur chok is dzang (good food, however you'd spell it) for the brain. You have awesome presence on your videos. I don't know what you do for a living, but I think you could do a show on the Travel Channel or VH-1 or something to help people. Not tapes or cd's, tho. That would commercialize you and kill credibility. Sponsored programming is the key. You're the Tony Robbins of Chinese, for real.

  • 事業線 is supposed to be a line on your palm to measure success too

  • that is fucking sexiest!!!!!!!!

  • I have one of those tshirts :D

  • And I thought my ABC accent was bad

  • THat is just bad teaching.

  • you should drop your pants, a guy's career line is their butt crack xD

  • 佢好大波 笑左= =

  • Dude... you are so funny...

  • The term is actually from palm reading. One of the line is said to represent your career.

Some media here would try make a big deal out of the sight of a 'career line'(or the lack of it). Tasteless I know. But they are never tired of that and the slang became popular and is now commonly used and understood by most.

As for palm reading, the clearer and more obvious your career line is, you are more likely to success. Same goes with female celebrities 'career line'.

  • Nice 1 dude LOL another new word I learned.

  • im impressed by your shirt, wanna get one as well.....where can I get that?

  • LOLOLOLOLOL!

  • well you did earn my subscription via this "career line" video. so yea, i guess it did help ur youtube career by editing that chest onto yours lol (actually it was an accident that ur video was on my recommended page")

  • like ur tee haha

  • carlos just wanted an excuse to go on google images and type in cleavage :P

  • my uncle's got the same t-shirt as you!!

  • Good one. Never heard of this slang till now. Thanks.

  • 好大波xd,,

  • Actually this expression career line is borrowed from a term used in a Chinese fortune telling method. Chinese people believe that we can predict our future by looking at the pattern of the 3 major lines on the palm. One of these lines is called the career line and it is used to predict our future career. Therefore, this word is borrowed to describe girls breast to imply that the girl has a better career if they have a pair of big breast.

  • @leafisfalling very well explained! I was just gonna point that out, too! thanks!

  • @inn0x

thank you!! I just hope that people understand my English :)

  • 其實係外國好普遍,但5知點解唯獨香港好似發現新大陸一樣,仲加左個俗稱:事業線

  • @misMium 外國 =/= 香港

  • @misMium Because HK people always act like open and accept everything from the West. But in reality HK people think very old fashion and conservative. HK people always dress up with updated fashion because they want have social status and no body look down at them. This is my only personal view of course.

  • @shelaw520 hahaha

  • @shelaw520 i love his T shirt!!

  • ahh why are you teaching people a local dialect? You should be teaching people proper Mandarin not some local dialect that is not recognized or respected

  • @jetli80 not recognized and not respected that is harsh

  • @jetli80 He teaches what he wants to teach. If you're so uptight about it, why don't you go and put yourself up on youtube and teach 'proper mandarin'. By the way, that ain't mandarin he's speaking.

  • @Gergerpatpat fyi, i never said he taught mandarin, what i meant was if your going to teach Chinese, teach proper mandarin b/c there are trash accent mandarin like Beijing or Shanghai accent. furthermore why teach something that is again NOT RECOGNIZED by educated people of china. that is like someone teaching non-Americans Ebonics, it's not a language and it make you look uncultured, Cantonese is one of the most uncultured dialect found in China just like Ebonics in america

  • @jetli80 Cantonese traces back to the Tang dynasty, 1400 years ago. In fact it was the official language in China before Putonghua. Ancient writings and poems only rhyme in Cantonese. I can't see why Cantonese is "one of the most uncultured dialect".

Putonghua is for the sake of communication. In fact if you're casted out from your family or village or whatever organisation, they start to talk to you in Putonghua instead of their mother tongue (dalects), that's where dispect comes in.

  • @rayveltang where did you learn your Chinese history, off the back of a take out box? Cantonese was never the official language ever in history. Whatever the official the language was, it was based off some kind of northern accent b/c the north had always conquered the south, Cantonese is a strictly south dialect. furthermore Cantonese is closer to Vietnamese then any northern accent ever in history of China.

  • @jetli80 He's right. The "official" dialect during the Middle Chinese (around Song dynasty) time was a Southern variety (could be Cantonese, but let's just say a southern dialect). There is overwhelming (historical/linguistic) evidence for that and it's fair to say that there's no room for debate in the chinese linguistics world. Also, Sun Yat Sen actually tried to make Cantonese the official language of China. The committee sat down to vote and Cantonese lost by a few votes.

  • @rayveltang again Putonghua is a studied and refined language that is designed to maximize communication among the diverse people of China. Cantonese is a crude and rough language used for communicating with people of a small region. Trust me, if you actually listen to Cantonese, many words are just perverted pronunciation of Putonghua once again demonstrating how Cantonese is just an uncultured dialect of a main language like Ebonics to English.

  • In palm reading, career line, which is the straight line in the middle of your palm, can foresee whether you have a good career or not. It is borrowed to mean the career line (cleavage) that those talentless bathing suit models depend on to stay relevant in the media. The longer the cleavage you have, the longer time you can stay in this sh*tty entertainment industry.

  • 笑撚死

  • Taiwanese got this term due to influence of HK media. A HK columnist said it was the result of extreme greed in HK - people use everything they can to earn money and fame, and women use what the God give them to achieve something they want. A cleavage of life (mothers) becomes a money earning tool. It's a reflection of this modern world.

  • hmmm i what key word did you use to search up the photos?

  • the longer the cleavage you have, the better career you will have
