Why is it that Bush still hasn't addressed the fact that his primary reason for this war is a lie. your research wont show those so the others must be true as well.
Bush saw and took well advantage of blowing up the WTC which by the way holds all the paper work for bushs' illegal companies as well as most of the companies that his friends own which just so happened to get destroyed in the destruction of the building. how is it that the black box was destroyed but the terrorist Visa wasn't ? It is a cover up for something else. Bush is a Oil terrorist
Bush like his father saw an opportunity to try to steal another countries oil supply under false pretense and successfully achieved their mission with the support of millions of sheep. Our troops are brave, but unwise, Heroic but misled, and Bush wants to send in 30,000 more to get his money/oil out safely.
And also theres this belief by the Americans that they are the best country in the world. (the nazis thought they were the greatest race in all mankind) Its a short step from patriotism to extremism
Hence so many of our dislikes for this country and those who consider themselves patriotic. Patriotism is another way of saying racism, it just sounds better. Considering this country has so many problems and out off all these problems the ones that the people constantly talk about always get overlooked, I see no reason to be patriotic at all about anything that goes on in this country.
i don't get it with this which life is more important 'a life is a life wherever they come from they are as important as everyone else'. I didn't hear anything about the British who are fighting in Iraq aswell (who are now pulling out of Iraq) 5/5
We should take a closer look into anyone who comes into running for the white house. Don't vote for Hillary either. She took payment to push away free health care, and she's a freemason. You may know some freemasons but if you do some research, they're aren't as nice as you think.
I think that if we left Iraq we'd create a vacumn. Once we leave, the Iraquis will be forced to take responsibility of their country, or else a dictator will step in, or else (unlikely) it will enter long-term anarchy like somalia. I'd see pulling out as a gamble, wheras staying is guarenteed failure. I bet we can tip the odds in our favor with types of pressure, but there is no guarentee if we leave. I don't like it much, but staying in our current situation clearly isn't an option.

Though there's two movies which discredit bush and the whole terrorist attack scenario, if we were truly going after the terrorist then we shouldn't have attacked Iraq, we should have attacked Saudi Arabia who were housing and funding Bin Ladden and his group.
That being the case lets you know that there's a lie in the whole 9/11 lie. I know people who's families have died in the WTC tragedy but don't know 1 person who's family member was on the planes and why is it that the terrorist have web pages and work for iraqi and saudi arabian airline services?
I've already researched all this and am not interested in putting forth the effort to convince you. Do research without a mental slant and you may just agree with me.

Why is it that there never were any WMD's yet thousands of our troops died? Why did we illegally capture and kill Saddam even though the UN told Bush not to go over there (They knew his real reason like the rest of us do).
Do one yourself without a mental slant for bush. Simple fact is Bush and Bin Laddin have been buddy buddy for a really long time. @Atlas2344 wow, 1. you actually replied to something that's 3 years old. 2. You apparently don't follow the news. @anonymousnamealso I do follow the news. 1 in 7 Americans live in what we consider "poverty". Idiot! You must never post anything again until you have developed the educational background and intellectual capacity to do so... Which... Might be a long time for you!
Whether Amerians admit it or not, we American believe American lives DO count more than Iraqi lives . Do you think we would still be in Iraq if 600,00 Americans had died. Of course there couldn't be 600,000 americans dead in Iraq because we haven't sent even half that number. Those dumb asses in Washington haven't sent even half that many. If we had maybe we'd be done!
Many lives are lost in all wars. America turned soft after the quick and sanitary nearly effortless Gulf War in 1992. We got ourselves into Iraq, now we need to stay and finish it. No matter how long, our many more must go. You don't throw a punch then give up when you get hit back. What will we look like then? If we are defeated in Iraq we will surely crumble like Rome...
Well said .Many of them were killed after the first time ,now I hope the know we will stay .Were still in Japan ,The number of U.S. military personnel in Japan, now at about 40,000 ,ask to bring them home ?
A tip: David, you don't want to use a phrase like "the bitter truth" or "obviously"(you didn't use that one, but its common). It sounds bad. It makes it seem as though whoever uses it has a monopoly on the truth, which sounds a wee arrogant.
I saw James on CNN! YouTube is the next Hollywood! Maybe they will be so progressive to allow a "Kotecki and McMillan" show. Good Job and keep them coming.
Each morning the Iraqis have a choice when they get out of bed, either pick up arms and shoot someone or live a peace. Our being there serves nothing more than a distraction. If the Iraqis see our leaving as an opportunity to escalate the violence, this is again by their choice. Theirs is a very religious culture. We will soon see how well that religion serves them.
Great show guys. Keep up the good work. I like the humor and sarcasm, it helps to spark debate. As for the issue, stay or withdraw, the conflict in Iraq will no be solved for many years. The cold hard truth is that the war is too expensive. It has cost America money, lives and our worldwide reputation while producing minimal results in both Iraqi policy and our global war on terror. Unless a lasting solution is found, troop withdrawals should begin immediately.
Although I agree with alot of both your comments, my question is, genocide was occuring in Iraq, Correct? If that is so, did we not have a moral authority to act?
I agree, this war was unnecessary, but it is a fact we saved lives but at the same time, caused the death of more. Does that make any sense?
Bottom line is that we definitely have a responsibility to effectively withdraw by preserving Iraq as much as possible.
there isnt a civil war going on now their is 'just' rampant terrorism, maybe the violence could esclate. and the problem with deciding to overthrow another country's leader without being asked is you have a responsiblity. on the otherhand america cant sustain this war indefinately.
Going into the Sudan would be like going into Iraq allover again, but dealing with a bigger country, more people and China. And it would take years and years and years of fighting to really change anything.
You bought up Darfur so let's look at Darfur. In Darfur you have the Arab Sudanese government using the Arab Janjaweed to kill-off the Africans. Pretty much all of them on both sides are Muslim. And one of the big reason nothing much has been done is because China which has a vote in the UN gets oil from the Sudan. Also the Africans have a bunch of militia groups fighting the Janjaweed.
Your talk about stereotypes in your other videos, but when it comes to Iraq the Arabs = terrorist idea seems to be live and well. The majority of Iraqis don't want us to leave. The people the are killing American troops don't represent Iraqis.
Right now there are thousands of Iraqi army soldiers fighting and dying with American troops they represent the majority Iraqis.
And calling what's going on in Iraq a civil war is just stupid. What you have in Iraq isn't a country divided 2 groups. It's a bunch of small terrorist groups trying to control the majority Iraqis.
I'm sure that just as many successful t.v. debate shows take time to get into their routine, you guys will continue to get better. Things are a bit slow in politics now, but when really interesting stuff comes up that should help too!
All you have to do is look at who is being kill by who over there to realize that American troops leaving is just going to make things worse. The Iraqi civilians are the people that are getting killed the most. And most (90% according to what I saw on CBS news) are being killed by insurgents. Leaving before the Iraqi army is strong to defend the new government is going to make things even much worse then they are now. And would probably result in a complete collapse government.
Good work looking at the different sides of the issue. A thought: James, you need to be a little more defensive of your arguments(or David needs to be more accomodating with his).
I call it the Hannity and Colmes Syndrome. The weaker arguer(Colmes) is too meek to take on the more forceful arguer(Hannity) and so the result ends up a bit off balance(in the case of Hannity and Colmes, slanting right; in your case, slanting a wee left).
America occupied Japan for seven years following the second world war, and Japan was a country soundly beaten. That and South Korea, are the only examples of good nation building by the US. Nation building doesn't happen overnight. It takes time and effort; something America's instant generation knows nothing about.
Don't forget Germany! There were even problems from the (Werewolves?), fanatic Nazis who didn't give up after the war ended. Still I wonder if some countries can't be helped just as some people can't be helped. If someone is self-destructive, in an abusive relationship, drugs, etc., you try to help them but they only lash out at you & refuse to listen, then at some point you have to admit there's nothing you can do, no matter how much you might care.
You should've never gone there, you're making more people hate you = more terrorists.
Stop making terrorists.

BTW if you did the math, 25% and 95% is over 100% so apparently I'm talking about those locations and their unemployment rates.

Nice job of pointing out the complexities of the war. If our government would talk to each other like you two do, we'd be better off.
