  • Lol. Lol .......for the price of this Kit you should get a date with a supermodel.....and get some from that date! also this guy doesn't know how to say melodious. also the audio is ass.

  • this kit better suck my dick as i play it

  • This kit is way to expensive

  • Comment removed

  • Useless 'demo'. Axe Music can't be a very good store to go to if they don't even know how to plug in the OUT of the drum module into the INPUT of the camera...

  • @Frontdesk99 i think i shot this on my phone. next time i'll bust out the hd 3d camera...hope the fidelity is up to snuff for ya! ps. our store is the best!!

  • Is it loud when it's acoustic?

'Cause my parents say it has to be a "quiet" drum kit.....Whatever that means.

  • @RiffsandBridges yup pretty quiet...but not silent

  • @RiffsandBridges Do you have 10.000 dollars or something like that? :p

  • this kit looks awesome!! im playing a drum solo contest for a chance to win this kit and go to montreal to play live xD

  • That is so cool

  • Compare the expressiveness off 2box Drumit 5:

    watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY&feature=related

    With Roland TD-20 snaredrum Expressiveness:

    watch?v=ORY_Uf1kU0E&feature=related

It speaks for itself.... 2box rules .

Which isnt strange, 2BOX DRUMIT 5 is from the guy who invented the e-Drum pioneering DDRUM (2, 3 and 4)

The LATEST version of ddrum, ddrum 4 was releast TEN years ago, listen to them here...

    watch?v=TwoMMMhxOA4&feature=related

Already then they were better than Roland....

  • i have the set its awesome

  • It is brand new, still in the 3 boxes it shipped from Roland. I won the kit in a

grand prize drawing, lucky me! I am making a major move so I could use the funds.

  • I am selling my Roland TD 20sx for 5,500 if anyone is interested. Still in box.

  • @MrGold900

Really? As in "brand-frickin' new"? As in completely unused? As in... You get the point.

I would definitely be interested, but I don't want to get your hopes up, so I can't say I'm certain. Where are you selling it? Ebay? And just out of curiosity... why would you be selling it? I guess I'm just confused as to why someone would be selling it.

  • hey retard its not melo dious its melodious. like melody...

  • @MegaKingoftheOzone hey... i represent that comment

  • my guitar center is amazing..ive went in there and played drums for 2hours one time

  • MELODIIIIIIIUS ROOOCKKKS MAAAAN I NEED ONE!

  • @sukickwong

the effects help tons! still not the real deal, but as close as you can get!

  • Somebody sucks.

  • @rowleyxl4 harsh toke. sorry you didn't like

  • @mattheadfat Drums sound good though!

  • Idont Get How YOu Guys Get Mad In Guitar center When We Come To Play All The instruments But you guys get to play them all day

  • @ginojohnson7 dude, at axe music you can play EVERYTHING

  • was this at the one in Calgary or Edmonton

  • @aflyingninja1234 That is definitely not the Calgary one.

  • @aflyingninja1234 Edmonton!

  • Same sound as on the TD 20's expanded =P

  • @sukickwong they are amazing sounding even the acoustic kits sound great. i played on one the other day

  • how much is one of these, pads and brain all together, brand new

  • @MackBruce12 $1O'OOO

  • @MackBruce12 7,000

  • anyone know if the melodious sounds come on the basic card or is it only on the expansion card?

  • Man, I played the new Pearl E-Pro kit and it blows everything else out of the water. I can't believe I bought a yamaha dtextreme 3, now ive got to sell it to get a pearl kit.

  • @TheDirtyCurt your joking right..... pearl e pro live is just repackaged Alesis stuff...

  • what are the cymbals made of

  • how much is one of these

  • how much is one of these

  • i have a question

can you make your own drum set by just buying a couple of practice pads and adding triggers then connecting it to a drum module

  • nice man, the melodic sounds r kick ass, not sure about the acoustic sound of them though

  • well, they're not real....so they're far from perfect, but when recorded directly to disc, they can sound good. the sound your hearing is through the sound system and into the mic on my iphone...so we're not really hifi in this vid

  • nice, i wanna get an electric some day, just cost alot

  • AHAHAH i know where this axe is XD this is the edmonton store i was there yesterday

  • holy shit melodies!!!!!!!! that sounds awesome

  • Lolz this costs "only" 80.000Kronors which is about 8000€ :P

  • Its 5000 euros here in Holland Belgium and germany. If you need to pay 8000 euros for this kit you just got scamt.

  • Even better than the other video and your professional wankery on that mapex set!

  • that melodic patch is AWESOME.

  • Yeah, sure, the electric set rocks, but the feeling of playing an accustic set makes it worth not having all the 80 different kits. electronic just ain't the same!

  • the new V-drum kits that are out there really feel like you're playing a real acoustic kit

  • is that the 2box Drumit 5 system in the background to the right of you? if so, stick up a video of you playing that too...cheers

  • can anyone afford this kind of kit. i could get mike portnoy's entire kit instead of this

  • it woudn't be so silent as the td-20, wich also has many sounds and songs

  • When you think of a kit like this you have to remember the flexibility of it. Every rim, head, and cymbol surface can be reprogrammed to play a vast number of sounds effectively giving you the ability to play on equipment that would cost way more than this set. It's a flexibility that you just can't get from an acoustic set unless you spend many thousands of dollars and fill an entire room with equipment.

  • Sure the technicality of what the kit can do is vast but the price just throws this kit out of most drummers reach. for the 80% or more of people living outside the US this kit's isnt buyable, in UK this retails for over 5 thousand pounds. I mean the only people who would play this are people who are endorsed by V-drums or people who are rich. for the average joe drummer this isnt attainable and remains nothing more than a novelty & pure fantasy

  • Well this is considered the professional model. A professional can very easily spend the same amount on an acoustic set up. Roland has lower models to match different incomes. I would love to have this model but the most I could afford was the TD12. And I'm far from being a professional drummer.

  • Hey man I know what you mean about the price but I have a TD20KX and it cost me a little under £3800 I am NOT rich by any stretch of the imagination....

I use it in the studio for practicing and for playing live, it really is a great bit of kit and has no limits to what sounds you want to accomplish.

    Where you save the money?;

    No need to replace heads.

    Doesn't need Mics.

Sticks never break.(And I play metal)

One car journey to the studio (Small european cars lol).

    Please don't judge on price!

  • Well I know you're joking but just in case someone thinks you aren't, his signature snare alone costs in the neighborhood of 300.00. His kit is made up of 2 different sets. Those sets in base form with no cymbols or hardware cost around $2k ea. And that's just for a 3 piece shell set. People who question the price of this Roland set really have no understand of the price of top end acoustics.

  • Hahah... Maybe but its a really cool bit of hardware!

  • okay im getting slaughtered by electronic fans.haha im just saying u can get a 5piece professional drum shellpack like a mapex saturn for roughly a thousand pounds. i think 3800 is the cheapest u can possibly find of a kit like this, and considering that u have 2800 pounds left to buy cymbals and hardware. as for if ur going to say mikes and shit cost money well then electronic drums need electrical amplification as well which isnt free either

  • nah a saturn is atleast £1300 nowadays and thats not including snare. So then a good snare about £400. Good cymbal setup £2000 and £700 on hardware atleast. You would end up spending about £5000. And thats for one kit when the Roland td20kx has something like 80 different kits. Electric kits rule!

  • @aaronalwines Check out this e-Kit watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY&feature=related

Sets you back appx 3000$, and sounds BETTER than the TD-20... ;-) Is selling like crazy in Europe...

  • hey man after watching you on this kit im determined to purchase this one myself.

i was wondering if you could tell me how many drum kits the td-20kx has other than the 2 you showed.

  • 100 total. 50 new kits with expansion card, the original 50 patches are the last 50 kits.

  • revolutionnary V-Drums pad, awesome Roland module and a stunning hi-hat

  • @DoriusAbacus dude just watch johnny rabbs videos of the td 20 kx

  • Well, the kit performs sonically about the same as a TD20 with the expansion card...nothing new on the computer sided (cept the colour of the brain). now the kit itself is beyond solid...the rack as strong as gibraltar or pearl. the new pads feel amazing, especially the kick...it weighs like 40 lbs..at least. very impressed thus far. i'll get more videos up on the weekend. later skaters!

  • Good Job Matt!!!

    Love this new TD20 Kit!!!

    Roland Is the Best!!!

If you get a chance show some of the differences from last years model.

    Thanks for the video.

  • iphone camera kinda sucks...i want this kit bad
