What couple of guys in here don't realize isthat this is a 4x game (use google if you don't understand what that means). Some of you guys are mentioning SOTSE and homeworld series...those are RTS games (yes even the sins). If you don't like this sort of genre, or don't understand how to play the game you have 2 solutions: to play the tutorial, or just return to your little arcades (like pac-man and cod) leave the intelligent work to someone that is here for gameplay not flashy colors. @kennykiller911 Actually there is no other game in existance like this game. It's basically EVE Online in a 4x strategy game form, with the players replaced by AI's and npc's, and with some of the best diplomacy in the entire strategy game genre. I cant think of any other 4x strategy game that simulates an entire world with private ships and such. Not even civilization does that.

Fans don't let this game die, this game have huge potential and im not talking about the graphic this game is a prime example of what a game with little graphic can do, i have call of duty black ops and modern warfare and im telling you those game both together can't beat this one you may laugh but fans know what im talking about so people lets do more videos about this game to keep this game alive also more about return of the shakturi expanision..

this game was rough at release but with the patches and expansions its awesome. the sins fanboys don't know what they're talking about, this isn't even the same type of game. distant worlds is a grand strategy game like europa universalis in space, there's good diplomatic options, the galaxy actually feels like it's alive with civilians, pirates, and ancient ruins, and 2d graphics mean you can have enormous maps with lots of stuff going on. I like sins but its closer to a standard rts

@shugogh12 lol trading multiplayer for singler player with X3: TC is a better idea than playing eve online a game where if you didn't start playing on release, its boring, mainly the fault lies in the "over time" system, eve has so much potential but unfortunatly with bulk players leaving it it is fail. in my first month of playing eve i got handed a corporation with 40 members in it because the top 10 players of our corp went to play some fantasy based mmo instead.

Only a few weaknesses in this game... Like not being able to recover from serious out-techment... (rare to occur), Easy to beat AI... And the lack of any form of multi-player game... apart from that, it's awesome...

hey I play fps, call of duty isnt bad but it also sucked up until modern warfare. I like Halo 3 more, and sins of a Solar empire is a much more combat oriented space game.
