  • YAY I FOUND IT AGAIN, LOOKING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG <3

  • WOAAAAHH MAN !!! HOW YOU DO THAT HARMONIC SO AWESOMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!??????

  • @albertos95adsr just slightly touch the strings with your right hands index finger, 12 frets higher than the fretted note

  • fantastic stuff bro! First I thought you were really in that train...

  • @jujucaster lol thanks man

  • DUDE LOVED THE IBANEZ RG PART!!!!!!

  • damn man, gave me an eargasm, very well played and the facial expressions amuse me lol, utterly cool backgrounds too ;)

  • amazing sounds, and you look funny :))

  • awesome, the lead riff almost sounds like Satriani. I love your tones, the string samples remind me of Spock's Beard. You've got some real composition skills

  • this is crazy. i enjoyed the facial expression, honestly. keep it up, the whole bit. ridiculously talented.

  • song sounded really good, i like the mood, and you should just always do the stare into the camera thing. Nobody else does it.

  • @Sammyv17 thanks a lot man, there will be more "staring into ze camera" in the future then

  • excellent music... like the delay

  • Hey dude, nicely played. Do you find getting good clean sound out of the Roadhouse difficult? I'm about to pull the trigger but I need both good clean sound and overdrive. I figure it may be awkward if you need to quickly switch from clean to overdrive or vice versa for different passages. Please give your opinion. Cheers!

  • @BoogieEngineer cleans & overdrive are both fantastic on this amp. What it doesn't really do is a metal rhythm sound

regarding the switching from clean to overdrive: It's all possible with the volume knob of the guitar, there is also a foot-switchable boost on the amp. The overdrive will be much louder than the clean though, which is a problem when playing with a "no-dynamics"-drummer ;)

  • i found the facial expressions amusing

  • hilarious man

  • You are amazing dude, im glad i found you

  • Very nice use of delay effect on the guitar. Excellent!

  • Pretty awesome man. And keep the facial expressions, it's part of who you are.

  • Like !!!

  • Haha my guitar teacher has the same facials when he knows he's playing something awesome

  • it would be cool if you didnt look like a tremendous douche with all your facail expresions

  • @COBHCALEXICOBHC yeah, sorry

  • @guitarDouchebaggery

don't mind him, he likes Children of Bodom, not like he knows anything ;)

  • @COBHCALEXICOBHC It adds to his character actually.

  • Nice work i love that tone, reminds me of that Paul Gilbert song - The echo song

  • @Platinumham thanks, yes, it's the raw power of the dottet 8th note delay ;-)

  • nice

  • reminds me of tonus diabolicus by Greg Koch, anyway if you don't mind my asking, with all of the parts included what was the total cost of you pseudo-strat?

  • @SeanJordan15 If I remember correctly, it was something between 1200 and 1400 EUR

and Greg Koch is absolutely amazing

  • DUDE! THAT WAS AMAZING! That was probably the coolest sounding song i've ever heard! Do you have the tabs for it?

  • @GuitarHeroFullCombos thanks a lot

    I'll send you a PM

  • I really like this song!

  • how does a sustainiac and sustainer work? I don't even know what kind of components they are.

  • @Xrick56 It's an electromagnet that is installed in the neck position. It checks over the bridge pickup what note is being played and then sends out that frequency over the electromagnet which creates the infinite sustain. A circuit board needs to be fitted in the guitar as well.

  • hahaha coolplayer hahha not.. :D:D ugly guy :D

  • @96mooNly96 Thaaanks! I'll have to give up my dream of becoming the next Top-Model now

  • @guitarDouchebaggery lol no offence but you can tell u used a green screen :P

  • @ryowatanabi shhh, don't tell anyone!!

  • @guitarDouchebaggery ahaha at first i thought it was real and u said u were gonna record it on a train, but then i saw ur werent moving with the train..then i knew..

  • @ryowatanabi you mean he wasn't actually in space? bullshit!

  • amazing *__*

  • Really awesome video! Great playing, great use of effects, great composition. Very, very entertaining! 5 Star easily.

    -Randall Padilla

  • Very Vai/Satriani/virtuoso type song, I really like it. Plus, the video part was cool!

  • that was an awesome track, i was just wondering how hard it was to install the sustainiac?

  • thanks

from all my guitar mods, the sustainiac was the hardest to install so far.

I also didn't do it with the "official" wiring, because I wanted to have that Air Norton S in the neck instead of the sustainiac as an active neck pickup. So this made it a bit difficult, but in the end it worked.

The problem in general is that you could get oscillations if some wires are close together (which means some noise interference)

  • umm your ibanez guitar i saw that model in the shop.shall i buy it?is it an impressive guitar?(i already have an ibanez grg170m but im considering buying that guitar i want a guitar with a floyd trem)should i buy it?

  • cool, if it really IS that guitar, mine is a RG550 reissue, they are from 2007 and got quickly sold out (limited edition). It's really great, the neck is actually a bit too thin for me, but that's a matter of taste. I'd get it, it's a fantastic guitar.

  • @guitarDouchebaggery yeah its the same reissue limited wizard neck rg550(same colour as well) i saw it in the shop im currently saving up for it(<--poor guy lol)money doesnt come from nowhere thanks for the advice only about £100 away from it

  • cool, you're almost there. That guitar is a lot of fun

  • those arnt your standard pentatonic shapes are they, dont really sound like any scales i know either.can you shed some theory insight on what your playing without getting to techy if youcan help it?your way outside the box,its super refreshing keep up the great vids!

  • hi, it's not so complicated. The first part is in E minor, then at 1:22 starts the diminished part (diminished arpeggios that also shift up whole steps or half steps), then at 1:37 it's F# minor but with a chromatic bassline, the rest is basically F# minor then. Except a the very end, it goes back to "the start" which is E minor

  • key shifts, diminished arpeggios, who plays in f# minor?ive been wanting to make my phrasing more interesting and this is the inspiration ive been looking for!

  • Great Concept !!! Five Stars !!!

  • I definitely feel the paul gilbert and bucket influence.

    Great stuff.

  • Beautiful guitar, cool song, neat idea for the video!

  • i really love your song man!!! and i'm a fan to devin Townsend so very nice shirt man!

    go to see my video's

    see you

    Manu

  • very cool tune and video.

  • Awesome Vid and great guitar slinging!

  • whats the color of your warmoth body?

  • I think it's a "fire burst", I bought if off the "showcase" section of the Warmoth site

  • im going to play guitar in a few months, do u have any hints or tips that might help me...

  • I think it's a good idea to have a guitar teacher right away who can correct all possible beginner mistakes.

I'd also learn all campfire chords (the basic chords) at first, then you're all set for the first few songs

  • thank you

  • how many guitars do u have???

  • around 13 (but this also includes bass guitars, acoustic guitars)

  • Dude, i really like your style, you have good vibes and your music is awesome, I have a guitar shred site, can i interview you?

  • very nice song. great tone as well

  • DUDE YOU OWN!!! NICE GREEN SCREENING!

  • Great song, I like video very much!

  • Very nice stuff

  • Wahnsinn, find ich sehr cool gemacht.

Von der Mimik her bist du bisschen wie Steve Vai find ich, wenn du sein Astoria Konzert kennst, weißt du was ich meine. ;)

  • superawesome song and SPECIALLY video!

  • Damn!!! :) good stuff!

  • Next Satriani-Vai-Halen-RIGHT HERE!!

  • Hey georg.

Das video is echt geil, super filmtechnisch gemacht!!

  • danke, da musste ich echt viel herumeditieren ;-)

  • This was real funny. How many guitars do you have?

  • thanks, I have around 12 (including bass & acoustics), I know it's a bit excessive, but I can't say goodbye to any of them ;-)

  • sehr cooles Video...sehr originell...alles deine Klampfe???? see ya on Myspace....bernard

  • ja, ich hab ja mehrere Klampfen, was so über die Jahre zusammenkommt ;-)

  • super cool as usual m8

  • Awesome!

  • watched this several times. I love the video action. Very original. The production of the song is smooth and cool. I like this a lot.

  • Ahhh, die Wiener Qualität des Georgs.

    0:26 : Toller Riff.

    1:37: ich werde das stehlen.

2:19: Jemand hat sich viele Vai- Videos angesehen :P ;D

  • lol, danke

  • I didn't know that Shamray is known beyond Russia ;)

And this one is as usual 5*. Very fast fingers, but for me the very beginning and the Ibanez part are the best :)

  • boring as hell!

  • incredible. the video just made it ridiculously awesome. did you use any effects in the muse-sounding solo around 2:10 ish aside from the whammy bar?

  • thanks, during that part I'm using a sustainiac (basically the same thing as a sustainer), it makes the notes ring on forever

  • Man this is really good.

  • Nice song dude, you gotta make a video solely with that PRS! its gorgeous!

  • I will (actually, it will be in the very next video), I basically stole it off ebay ;-)

It's a Shamray (famous Russian custom shop), but with the PRS single cut design

  • hey m an. I think the individual ideas here are good on their own but it doesn't really gel together as well. nice video edit though.

  • paul gilbert ...echo song :)

  • yes, or any song by U2

well, for some reason Paul Gilbert seems to hold the delay crown now, my personal fav with that kind of delay is "Initiation" by Tommy Emmanuel

  • Bad ass!

  • The editing impressed me more than the playing, parts of it sounded too much like Paul Gilbert's Echo song for me.

  • that's true, that kind of delay is such an distinctive effect, you'll always sound somehow like the echo song, or like Big sur moon (Buckethead) or like U2

  • Great playing though dude, really impressive :)

  • You have some serious talent.. nice job.

  • truly talented. Only the faces are kinda wierd :D

  • LOL, well, the faces where for extra entertainment ;-)

  • That was just brilliant.

  • Ziemlich geil Alter!!

  • wowzers!

  • Insane sounding guitar!

  • nice, this is video editing insanity!

  • wow, just wow

    amazing video
