I had preclampsia. I was induced at 36 wks. The protein level in my blood went from 900 to 3000 in just a few days. My kidneys were failing, my b/p was through the roof. It was a very scary. the doc make my mom turn off the cam during birth due to fear of things not happening normal. Jacinda was born at 4lbs 9oz,  her little chest was going up and down-she was blue and struggling to breath,She was put on oxygen and got a shot to mature her lungs. She had jaundice. After 2 weeks we got to go home

I had a very threatening scary pregnancy too, mine was mistaken for ectopic pregnancy blighted ovum, I vomited the entire nine months, I had preeclampsia too

My son was premature, he is now 3 months and fine

ur story is such an inspiration! i lost my baby at 29 weeks due to sever pre eclampcia.. my blood pressure went up tp 200/104!!

i am stuck with chronic hypertension. getting pregnant again with all the complications i got from pre eclampcia will put my next baby at a higher risk of pre mature birth or even poor fetal development.. please update me with ur health progress and let me know if u had a subsequent pregnancy and how it went. god bless you!

This video is soo beautiful, yeah he was lucky only spending 21 days there my daughter was there for 111days... it's hard to parents/family going through this... we need to raise awareness for pre-natal care and healthy pregnancies even though like preeclampsia it's still unknown as to why it occuries...

Wow, this video has given me so much hope, my daughter is hanging on to a 30 week pregnancy by the skin of her teeth... Likewise she has had the steroid injections for baby's lung development and we are now optimistic should she deliver early that baby has a good chance of survival...Thank you for giving those of us with noone to share our fears with HOPE...Thank you so much for sharing!

i just had my first baby feb 25th and she came 3 wks early due to preeclampsia.... i was so swollen and sore and really high blood pressure... my daughter came out by c section after i pushed for 3 hours but she came out perfect... 7 lbs 19 inches. i was the one with all the complications but im better now and i love my daughter to death and glad nothing went wrong with her

i had my baby at 35 weeks and my blood pressure at delivery  was 40/25 i dont remember anything about the birth. glad to see everything is ok

Glad to see that your baby is doing so well. I had a baby girl, Kaia born premature due to preeclampsia complications at 3lbs. 14.3 oz. She pulled through as well. Glad to see you and your baby are doing well. I had my twin girls 2 months early due to Eclampsia and after their birth I went into heart failure and almost died. But 6 months later we are doing great and the babies are as healthy as other babies thier age. I thank God everyday for thier lives and mine. If you would like you can see my babies at my channel. Such a beautiful boy. Congratulations to your family!! As it takes a lot to go through what you did. I don't have a child, but I work EMS and have taken a few mothers into a major hospital fast because pre-eclampsia was getting worse. All the ones I transported had healthy babys, but it is still so sad to go through this.

Although on prescription drugs my wifes blood pressure remainder at the top end of normal. After taking Levodyn for three months the improvement has been significant and she intends to carry on with Levodyn as a really helpful supplement.

I was also induced early due to preeclampsia. I had some of the signs of it but the doctors always told me it was "normal" to have those things during pregnancy. It took my BP getting to the 170s for them to actually do something about it.

oh gosh i i burnt into tears after seeing this video..the same happened to me...i had a pre-eclampsia and to do an ermergancy delivery...my baby was so tiny he weighted only 1.5kg and was 4 weeks premature

Thank you for watching the video about my struggle with preeclampsia and my little 24 weeker-Amanda Rae. Your little boy is so precious..it is comforting to know that there are other people out there who have gone through this same thing. I'm so happy for you that your little boy is healthy and strong! Unfortunately, we were not as lucky with our daughter...my preeclampsia arose much sooner. But we hope to someday feel that joy of a new baby in our lives. Congratulations on your beautiful family.

he is so lovely, and reminds me so much of my daughter, she was born at 28 weeks 3 days due to preclapsia, very scarry time she had a few set back and was 2pound 10 at birth and dropped to 2 pound, she just did not handle feeds and was on a central line for a long time, her stomach had a hard time for the 1st year of her life, nasle tubing lasted for a very long time, she is 8 now and is just a great kid. god bless your family

My son was born last Sunday 2 months early because of preeclampsia. I lived in the hospital with my wife for a week and now we are home. Now we have to drive 30 minutes to and from the hospital every day. I can't wait till he can come home. He is 2 lbs 12 oz. I'm glad your son is doing so well.

you have a beautiful son, and I see he kept that blonde hair! My second daughter was born at 35 weeks and stayed 2 weeks in the nicu, she is doing great now at 20 months! The nicu is an amazing place huh? I am now 32 weeks pregnant with my 3rd girl just hope she stays in longer than her sister! Thanks for sharing your video!
