they're the same thing the only difference is that the 9900 is for AT&T and T-mobile and the 9930 is for Sprint and Verizon.

Just ordered it today! I have had a Blackberry for 3+ years now and I really feel like it's more for me than the iPhone. My most recent is the Bold 9650 which has been amazing and I have had very little problems with it, so I only have the highest of hopes for the 9930. I was trying to decide between this and making the switch to the iPhone 4S and I remembered how much I disliked typing on my iPod Touch. I like that this offers touch AND a keypad. Looks perfect, so excited to receive & try it!

@Smilealwaysya Definitely Bold. The Torch is horrible. I bought the phone long ago, and totally regret it. I'm buying the Bold tomorrow. The Torch's touch is horrible, the keyboard is very tight, and hard to type with, and it's very thick and uncomfortable to use. The new Bold's touch is a bit faster than the iPhone, the keyboard is so spacious, it's amazing to type with. (many of my friends have it,) and I've taken the phone and used it for a day, and I'm amazed by it. Can't wait till tomorrow!

@redbubbles47 right, look.. too me, torch is cool coz we can switch it either to landscape or potrait mode when using camera nor watching video.. that's just my companion.. can u make another video about comparison between torch and bold? or can u just tell me? to me torch is kinda big and I like to hold a phone that is big like the bold, iphone and the torch.. my parents about to get me a berry.. and you'd say for bold? hm..

You should've also mentioned the workaround for period and @ keys.

1. Quick double pressing the space will append period and space

2. In all email and web address fields you'll get @ and period automatically, such as space will generate @ when typing email addresses.

I guess you're not an everyday blackberry user.

The reason there is no . And @ key is because the spacebar puts those for you! Open an email and type space where those would normally be. Also press spacebar twice.

I too was torn between the two but dang this bold really hooked me up as I really love the iconic design plus it is powerful enough for a smartphone and bonus is the touch screen. .and then finally iphone4 s was announced and I am not impressed.

i'd say if camera is anywhere near a deciding factor than you shouldn't be looking at a blackberry anyway. Android phones have better camera, better integrated apps, and larger screen. Bolds aren't really used for camera tools. That's why most models have a "no camera" option.

@ZarioTV Some people are satisfied with the bold 9700 as far as a business phone goes. This phone is like a bold 9700 with added touch screen, more features, a solid OS, better camera and faster processor. If I needed a blackberry with bigger screen for multimedia i would go with the new torch 9860.

@ZarioTV I was comparing the new OS7 to the OS6. OS7 It's more solid blackberry OS than OS6 even though business users are satisfied with OS6, thats it. The whole thing about android app player is already being tested on the Blackberry playbook and yes it is brilliant. It is because being able run apps for different devices puts it above any other pad out there.
