@crammage dude can you help me out evertime i turn my car on the stereo goes on to demo mode but i check the setting and it says its off? .... also do you have to turn the stereo off before you turn off the car because evertime i do the settings erase and i have to put my radio stations all over again...plz respond
@crammage okay then the battery wires are backwords dang it oh well i still need to put my system in so i guess i can fix it then but thanks bro helped me a lot
Depends where you buy them I got 4 brand new Alpine Type-S speakers in original box on eBay for $100 and I love them. Few bucks more they sound better then any Pioneer which I hate, I had Pioneer speakers in my old Camaro that blew under stock 80s head unit and then my Mustang came with a Pioneer h/u that blew up when I hit a bump and friend had some that blew in his Jeep. My JVC is a KD-S37 model one that changes color loud feature is located in the Audio setting took me awhile to find it.
@crammage Well to get to mine I hold down the menu button till the menu comes on then I scroll past EQ setting to where it says Audio and click on that (that is were the fade/balance is) and scroll through to I see Loud and just click it to turn on or off.
@thirdgenguy17 hmm i see loud on the screen so i know ,or i think it has the feature, does yours have the feature for the headunit can be low power ,high power or built in amp off , is that same or different than LOUD feature
@crammage I have that and I have it were I can change the amp from rear to sub but all that is for the amp not the loud feature, I used that on mine I have a 2 channel amp hooked up right now but mine has 4 preamp outs so I bought a 4 channel kenwood amp, but anyway that amp setting does not do anything.
I think all or at least 90% of all newer JVC's have the loud feature, and I see from your model number you have the HD radio so I'm sure you have the feature.
Great video was thinking about getting this same exact stereo and selling my JVC to a friend but I think I will stick with my JVC has a lot more features including the loud feature which I love.
IMO the best affordable brands for car audio is JVC, Alpine, and Kenwoods though IDK if I care to much for Kenwood stereos they all seem kind of basic as far as features and looks go.
Hey appreciate the upload. Was thinking about getting one of these for my 97 F-150. Now I don't have to think about it any more. $80 is a steal off Crutchfield. Cheers.
You guys have alot more rock stations than we have. We really only have 2 stations now 105.1 the blaze and 95.7 the fox, most stations are rap and mexican. Looks like a good stereo though never heard anything bad about kenwoods. Sure does have a lot of features too it, pretty cool. Loved the bits of priest you where playing too.
Sorry if I missed it, but doesn't it sync to bluetooth devices? if so how?

@MrStompingshadow either the power and battery wires are backwards,

@thirdgenguy17 dude no offense but alpines are NOT afford able they are like $30-$40 more for the same thing
when a kenwood or pioneer is 60-70 an alpine is 90-100! how ever they are supposed to be really good
