Most People in India are poor and live in Poverty, Yet their Goverment spends Billions on defence. India is very paranoid nation, Pakistan is just typical they send terroists to do their dirty work. Also China would not invade India, Its in the best interests of China to keep away from conflicts from aslong as possible, The Chinese Economy is too vital for the war.
