boostedboogie can you email me or gimme ur mail add im from south sarica and i'd love some advice on doing the same to my e46 325ci... awesomeness thats all that i can say
@DropDownLowrider the clear 10-switch switchbox? it was a pain. the switches would stick a lot and i could never get an accurate lift. the wireless controller is much better and smoother because it's spring-loaded. it's a bit dangerous to leave loosely in your car while driving though because it's real sensitive. i recommend keeping it in a place where it won't be touched. or make use of the "lock" feature while driving.
@boostedboogie Hmmm shit that might be a problem because i plan to drag and play with switches while im driving and I have a manual tranny so the last thing I wana do is play with sticky swithces and shift lol thanks for the info!
what do you need if you want airbags just in front ive found airbags with dampers in them cheap and im wondering what you need to put them on the car?
@metalwasp even though it's just the front, you'll still need the same parts just as a front/rear setup. stuff like air lines, manifold/valves, air tank, compressors, wiring, switches, etc.
@eastsider4eva no i didn't, but i installed the electronics myself. the rear is no problem but the front will be a hassle to install. you'll want to use the UAS single-convoluted bag for the front if you're using a wide wheel
hey im from connecticut and if your not too far im willing to drop off car with money to get something similar. not into controlling every side. just want the front and back to drop when in park.
thanks for the comment. the compressor is actually electronic-driven, not engine. it actually isn't that bad unless the trunk was open. i have new ones that flow 275cfm and i can barely hear it inside
your welcome, i knew u were using elect.comps. i just wanted to know wat u thought about the e.d.c. because i havent really been seeing people with them.also do u think the viair comps make alot of noise
you mean the controller? it works fine. it's more sensitive than my switchbox so even at the flick of the switch, it'll raise too high. i'd much rather prefer some sort of preset system. the whole wireless functionality is overrated and never gets used.
both sets of compressors i've had were viair. my first set was definitely loud because they flowed more air. my new set is a lot quieter and flows less air, but it seems to run the same amount of time as my first set.
try to stay away from the traditional clear "switchboxes"...the heavy-duty switches on those stick a lot and are very annoying. i've had several times where a switch was stuck and i thought the bag's blew.
