Usually when I see interviews with bands I notice how painful it sometimes seems for them to answer questions and express themselves. The weird part of the way we promote music is that the business seems to assume that people in bands are articulate and comfortable discussing what they do and why they do it. But I don't think this is always the case.

This is a very interesting video even though it felt at times like I was sitting in on someone's bad blind date. I didn't think the questions or the interviewer were stupid or that either John or Lee hated her. I just think it's hard to build enough rapport immediately in these kinds of short press thingies to really get a good interview going.
