This REALLY shows exactly why you believe in a god, you attribute a "hit" with god answering your prayer. If you had prayed to Zeus and met this girl then you could attribute this "hit" to Zues.
This is pathetic evidence that such an amazing claim is true. Prayer has been scientifically blind tested and it shows absolutely no results at all.
Signing "hits" to god and ignoring misses is not evidence.
@Scanini Prayer can be scientifically tested. He doesn't answere as a voice. If this test isn't complete bull, than what exactly were they looking for. Were did you find this information? How do you know that the people that were being tested were christians? or how do you know that those scientists were christians. Why didn't the girl tell me to go screw myself. Why would she open up to me completely out of the blue. God points you in the right direction when you ask. He is my light.
The experiment i looked at was the one where they had 3 terminal cancer patients, the first was free from any prayer and knew nothing of the experiment, the 2nd was fully aware of a church full of people praying for him everyday, the 3rd was a patient that had another church pray for him but was unaware.
All these patients eventually died from their respective diseases.
Now although this was a test that has no way of knowing a god would help or not, it does show that praying does not help.
@Scanini God didn't have any more plans for them here. Obviously. It was there time to be with him in heaven. It makes me happy knowing that they no longer have to suffer the pain of this world. to lyn, my heart goes out to you, i have been through grief and rejection since my mother died when i was 10, and i felt lonely and not loved, just felt like there was nothing for me but then i felt god speaking into me and i started to go into christian fellowship and jesus saved me from all the grief and rejection and i am accepted and loved by him and he knew my heart and said i am going to be a man of god, i praise him for he has changed me and have life in him, god bless you lyn

That's hard and difficult to understand when such terrible things happen like that...my brother wasn't killed but he died needlessly all the same as a teenager... I've seen many things--terrible things as people have shared them with me, but I've seen also how they've been healed by G-d. He comes to restore; nothing bad comes from Him, and just like the testimony above, and mine the same, He can heal and make whole. Don't count Him out just because bad things happen; that's not the entire story.

But this is where God's love is manifest: in that He knew His law, that if we sinned that we must die. But God was not content for us to die like thst. But again, even when we disobeyed God, bringing about all of this hardship by our choice, God still already had a way out. He would pay for our punishment, so that we could be restored to Him. He would die, that we might live.

There are are many types of love, the definition applies to those various types of love, it hasnt changed at all.
We were around for hundreds of thousands of years before the abrahamic god was invented so its not true that gas love was first, types of love can be seen in the animal kingdom its not exclusive to humans.

@Scanini god is the judge.and it's more like your sitting in a jail cell and you find out that a complete stranger.a very rich stranger sells his house takes all of his money puts it towards you,and then he admitted to your crime, he already took the electricchair.Now you know it was you that commited the crime.Jesuses deciples begged him not to go on with the hanging.But he is are father and we are his children. @IamTheoneWhodreams In the real world we would never let bob do the punishment for my crime, the judge would laugh me into jail.
Why do you think its ok for jesus to do it? It does not matter if he is our father or our creator, the judge will not let bob do the punishment.
On top of this I WILL NOT let bob take my responsibilties away, and the same applies to jesus, i want to be punished for my acts, i am a better person than someone that lets someone else take their responsibility away.

@Scanini As I said before.It's not something that you can just say I will not let him take away my responsibilities.It has already been done.I don't think you understand what hell is.A place of torment,yes.It is a place that god turns his face from.God doesn't exist there.Your morals won't matter.You will never know joy or happiness.Anyone that you love to this day will be dead to you.Images will play in your head about how you could have done better but it will be too late.

@IamTheoneWhodreams I do not think that someone else taking the guilt away from me is a good thing, i dont think enduring torture for anything i do wrong is a morale thing to do, this is what you are not getting, if jesus is god and all powerful its not a sacrifice to endure pain for a few days when you know you will be alive forever and all powerful. How do you know if he is all powerful he didnt turn off his pain receptors, so he felt nothing just acted like he did.

@Scanini A slave is someone that is forced to work or will be punished or put to death. God doesn't order us to do anything. He give us an opportunity to help someone or evangalize but in doing that we become better stronger people. What he intended us to be. He is a helpful guide, that loves us. 2. If he gave me freewill then why is he punishing me for using it?

I understand 100% how daunting trying to understand the bast amounts of knowledge there is to cover all the questions you currently use "god did it" for, for i too once used that some answer, I never questioned reality, until i started to look for evidence on what i belived was real.

@Scanini Like I said you never knew god, and you either prayed for the wrong thing, or you weren't keeping an I out for an answer.Perhaps you didn't like the answer. Before I became a christian I knew that he existed but I used to pray for the wrong things. When I prayed for a friend, I thought that he was ignoring me. He wasn't. He gives us plenty of signs but we tell ourselves its just a coincidence. Sometimes he declines our answers just by not replying.

That praying works equally as well if no god exists to hear it, sometimes it works out sometimes it doesnt, it seems to me you credit god as helping when it works out, and when it doesnt you say he works in mysterious ways.

This REALLY shows exactly why you believe in a god, you attribute a "hit" with god answering your prayer. If you had prayed to Zeus and met this girl then you could attribute this "hit" to Zues.
This is pathetic evidence that such an amazing claim is true. Prayer has been scientifically blind tested and it shows absolutely no results at all.
Signing "hits" to god and ignoring misses is not evidence.

@Scanini Prayer can be scientifically tested. He doesn't answere as a voice. If this test isn't complete bull, than what exactly were they looking for. Were did you find this information? How do you know that the people that were being tested were christians? or how do you know that those scientists were christians. Why didn't the girl tell me to go screw myself. The experiment i looked at was the one where they had 3 terminal cancer patients, the first was free from any prayer and knew nothing of the experiment, the 2nd was fully aware of a church full of people praying for him everyday, the 3rd was a patient that had another church pray for him but was unaware.
All these patients eventually died from their respective diseases.
Now although this was a test that has no way of knowing a god would help or not, it does show that praying does not help.

This is an ad hoc explanation, the tap dancing you do to keep your belief alive is comical, almost fred astaire like.
No matter that i say or how its proved false you will say an excsuse or a reply that is frankly pathetic to the point of being cringe like.
"god had no more plans for them" - what if the test was run with children, what if they tested 500 children and the results (as im 100% sure they would be) came out the same, that praying or not praying makes no difference whatsoever.

Then you just go to the next question. Whenever I ask you a question you just start talking about the formula's we have. God's word hasn't changed. It hasn't been wrong yet. It hasn't been disproved. The burden of proof is on you, you have to prove your claim a god exists BEFORE you can say he is real.

The girl happened to be in a bad place, she was having a bad time, maybe you were the first person to show interest in here troubles, if some stranger showed me symapthy i most certainly would not tell the person to go screw themselves, i am much more polite than that.
Ill dig the experiment out and send you a link, all the participants were christian, i think they repeated the experiment 3 times and once with muslims.

@Scanini Over what period of time, did the experiment take place. When god answers prayers it's not going to be conveiniently when you would like him too. God requires patience. If they were christians that thought that you could record when god answers prayers they probably weren't praying for the right thing either. The thought gives me the giggles. God also answers in different ways.

Its a famous experiment and all you have to do is google it.
Yes, you can reject the findings and say "god wont do anything if he is being tested"

@Scanini Anyone that actually knows god knows that god will not answer to selfish pleads. God didn't ease the pain jesus went through. He let him feel it raw as ever. Those people are Better and stronger than they ever were here. I can gaurontee that they are happier. People that try to base logic purely off of science are bound by it. How can you gain any more knowlege with a full cup. Physical pain means nothing. You will never understand that though.
