umm 360 doesnt scratch games. You keep your 360 on a table. if the table is just moved at a angle for a little bit. or the carpet is making it uneven. Then it WILL scratch your games. umm well i can only suggest standing it up but mabey the lazer has gone a bit loose over time and dropped too close to the disk drive so mabey thats the problem also if your xbox is in warranty then they will give you a new one but if its not then they repair it for free and it is as good as new we had to send ours in so we should know also sony is worse because if anything wrong happens to the ps3 they say its user fault and refuse to repair it.
