hello gallardogt i was wondering what did u adjust in the audio.ini for the transmission sound..i been trying to find out but couldnt seem to find a solution..i know that stock RBR sound doesnt seem to have a trans sound or probably originally put to too low..so can u enlighten me how u did it? i would be very appreciated for ure kindness help
Yes it actually is nice sound. But still I rather choose "focusing on driving" instead of "trying to make the sound". But gotta ask you how did you get the "exhaust banging sound"? I mean like theres sounds of explosing in exhaust.
@541oregon Thanks, for me those sounds are music in my ears. Actually the pure four cylinder sound with the exhaust I find less interesting. That's why I prefer the Ford Focus onboard compared with the Citroën C4 WRC.
I hope we can hear next year more from the turbo and anti-lag with the new engine regulations (1.6L turbo instead of 2.0L turbo). I would also like to come back those delicious whining engine sounds of the GroupB area.
By the way, I did not knew that the focus has a 5 speed gearbox? I actaully prefer that setting, It lacks a bit of the meticulous control of 6 gears, but like the Peugeot 206 it really made more simple to drive and you don't have to shift too often while in the middle of the corners. What do you use for handbrakes?
I meant just that for me those, for many people, annoying transmission diff sounds are an indicator for being in a right rally driving rhythm because the higher the sound, the higher the speed.
But indeed, the difference between 70 and 100 is not clear for me either and I also don't know how realistic it al is compared with the real onboard movies or even what rally drivers hear with their helmets on :-/

sweet audio.....its weird that noone ever gets the proper antilag sound, seems as if you push about 10% more but a pleasure to watch!

Yes the Focus has 5 speed like those Peugeots and with a lot of torque, with those
turbo engines it should be enough. Because I still don't hear the shifting in the higher
gears it's also not that fun to have 6 gears.
I pull back the stick of the G25 for handbrake.

Focus has speed gearbox since Australia 2005..however the private Focuses does have speed

Please, can you give me more information about "the extra indicator about the real driving speed"?.
I love RBR but the speedometer show a speed perhaps not realistic.
I can't be sure, but when I go to 100 km/h my sensation is 70 km/h.

It's Manual but although you have to shortshift quite a lot on gravel and it is a turbo engine, I always can improve it of course.
