  • Jesus Christ, that Teledisc advert went on forever. Primetime TV ads in 1992 must have a cost less per minute than a call to ITVplay.

  • Simon Bates, at his most odious and slimily insincere, voices the Teledisc Love is Forever ad.

  • Ỳes, even the sound of his voice brings a number of "sexual swear words" to mind.

  • A pity he wasn't done in Brass Eye, unlike Edmonds and Brookes (although I remain convinced that Tommy Vance was in on the joke). He is just the type.

  • @RobinCarmody TV definitely knew what was going on.
