I thought Vader had PROXY programmed to attck Starkiller to keep him on his guard. PROXY was just trying to fulfill his programming.

No, Vader programmed him to kill Galen when he wasn't on a mission, however, the Raxus Prime computer, didn't.

That's weird. It sucks that there is no fight with PROXY in the PS2 version. In fact, PROXY isn't even programmed to kill him in the PS2 version.

You have to read the book to understand why they fight but in short Proxys body gets taken control of by an evil computer on Raxus Prime and Starkiller/Galen Marek has to save Proxy from the computer
