  • Everyone needs to stop all these hate comments. These are my uncles (believe it of not, I could care less) the drummer is my uncle Eddie, who is the greatest guy ever, but has been in the hospital and has recently passed. Think about what you're going to say before you post.

  • there's no question that he's a gay vato!!!

  • Judging by the singers dress and flaming, the Vox Continental wasn't his favorite organ. He probably played the skin flute.

  • @FranklinCoverup Well, if we're going to just judge people we know nothing about, from your statement I can conclude that you wish you could travel back to '66 to suck all of their cocks, probably because your father was a fan of theirs, but he wasn't the one that sexually molested you, it was your grandfather.

  • he is what he is

  • if u read long ago posts I and a milliom other americans thought they were english, the best were or at least pretended to be

  • he's from Michigan like the best

  • He looks rather feminine don't he??

  • Love this track. Can listen to it over and over. The lead singer lives in Clio, MI which is just north of Flint. Qmark played at the Davenport Inn with in the last year.

  • @jaystarski: when I first heard it (way back in the day) I thought it was Mick Jagger. Thought that for years. Now that I see the video, I can see why I thought that - sound, looks, moves - all very Jagger-esque.

  • @MsMombie

I used to think the same thing...LOL Although I have always liked this song! He would almost pass for Mick.

  • I LOVE YOU DAD!

    I LOVE YOU DAD!

  • THAT BASS PLAYER SHOULD BE SMILING ..THIS IS A CLASSIC BASS GROOVE AND HE IS KICKING ASS..

  • The lead singer Gesture and dance moves reminds me of Mick Jagger

  • The bass player for this band later went on to play bass for Grand Funk Railroad.

  • 2:36 that boy can shake it down...that kid could be on "Where the Action Is" easy rock on dude!!!

  • I last listened to this 30 years ago on John Peel's show.

Quite why I've come back to it in July 2010 I don't know.

  • @Syzygy60 I saw him in the 80's in CT. If he wasn't gay that night, he sure convinced everyone including Peter Noone.

  • was 69 tears til the censors showed up

  • Someone did their homework... I believe the band that worte and performed this song are from Michigan. I live in Michigan and they somehow make the news from time to time

  • Great song from the oldies. I love it.

  • Hope you feel better about yourself now that you started your day off by calling someone you don' t know an idiot. Says alot about you. But do some research. Yed thr record compainies controled everything including the band names, the singer' s names and the song choice. There were a totla of three bands that went under the name "Mysterians". Yes, one out of Michigan, one out of Orlando and one out of South Carolina. Have a nice day.

  • mexican-american proud

  • rocket ship

  • Uh, "Joey Ramone" is not calling himself by any other name. He can't b/c he's dead ! RIP

  • best, version ,,,,,,,si....,,,,,

  • love the shirts and the epileptic by the marina, for some reason this song always makes me want to hear bubble puppy

  • Man, do I ever love this song! Always have, always will.

Is this the original group? Somewhere I read that Mel S. of Grand Funk played on this. The lead singer reminds me a bit of Steven Perry, and a little of Mick Jager.

What a great song. Thanks for the post!

  • No this is not the original Question Mark was a 6 ft tall white guy. The Mysterious were his high schoold friends. They were form 96 South Carolina. Thus 96 tears. Good version of it thought,

  • the mysterions were from michigan.....and the original name of the song was 69 tears, but they couldnt get it past the censors of the early sixties

  • God I still love this song! ? was and is da bomb!

  • Poor Question Mark He's been crying the same 96 tears for the last 96 years.Que paso vato?

  • why is there a part of a Madness clip?

  • I love this song, but this video is crazy.

  • tenes please song you're telling me lies the cuestions mark & mysterians tank you my name is claudio country argentina

  • YES!!!

  • Does the number 96 have any special meaning, or is it just selected at random?

  • Well before my time but I love this song and rhythm.
