Cardinal Canizares and Msgr. Guido Marini in the Vatican have actually alluded that a universal reform of the Pauline Mass may be on it's way. Some in the Vatican are thinking of reintroducing the prayers at the foot of the altar, sctricter rubrics and partial Latin.
May God bless the Seminarians who God willing will turn things around. Our Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church, our Holy Mother Church has been tainted by those with liberal ideologies and apathetic beliefs. Many newer Catholic Churches resemble Protestant Churches, and too many drastic changes to what is happening on the inside of these churches. Bring back the conservative, traditional values of the Roman Catholic Church, bring back Orthodoxy!
Indeed, it is good to hear this from a priest. They've gone too far.... The Traditionalist mass is more respectful. This is nothing against Vatican II, but the way it is interpreted. You don't find all this foolishness in the CCC.
Please pray for seminarians and newly-ordained priests, especially in certain dioceses in the United States, who are persecuted by older clergy and sometimes bishops for simply trying to live our their priesthood as Christ established it and follow the GIRM.
Sometimes when I go to a contemporary Mass (which I already try to avoid), I feel I just want to leave the Novus Ordo all together. Although many share thease feelings, we must stand strong and be an example, and the start of a Reform in the Church. Like St.Theresea of Avlia, St. John of the Cross, St. Francis of Assisi and many of the other saints.
Try celebrating mass according to the rubrics. Where the Mass is Eucharistic centered. The N.O. Is not new age, but because it is being celebrated in a way that is in discord with the history and faith of the church it closes in on itself and we begin to worship each other... We applaud the choir, we have an extra ordinary amount of ex. Euch ministers it becomes like a status, and more abuses. This self worship is New Age. Try worshipping God and recieving God kneeling and on the tongue.
If your priest faces west toward people instead of east toward God (ad orientem) and uses altar girls instead of male acolotyes, he would be modernist. These are common occruences. draw your own conclusions. Read "Days of the Martyrs" by Benard Ruffin to discover authentic early christianity..

@TenderTrap86 Wow! No such thing as a New Mass? Then what is the Protestant banal fabrication Frankenstein's Monster that Bugnini made up with 6 Protestants in 1969? It is certainly not the Mass of the Saints. You are living in a horrible dream world that might lead you to hell if you do not see the blatant differences between the Conciliar religion and Tradition.
@TenderTrap86 And "what ever happened to being Roman Catholic"? Well, "Roman Catholic" kind of died when the Catholics decided that being Catholic was too Catholic for the "brother" Protestants at Vatican II. But I am very glad God preserved me in the Roman Catholic faith in Holy Tradition! Deo gratias!
@WeepingStellaMaris It's funny traditionalist always bring up how Protestant the "Novus Ordo Church" is, when they, themselves, who are protesting against the Roman Pontiff.
Traditionalists are also schismatic by defintion. They do not look to the Pope, anymore.
Traditionalists reject the promise made by Christ when He said the gates of Hell shall not prevail against His Church.
Traditionalism is unbiblical and anti-tradition. Rome can never be in error.
@TenderTrap86 The popes have made private statements that have been at least materially heretical. But you're right. Actually, since Vatican II, NO ex cathedral infallible statements have been made by the popes period. The Holy Ghost prevents them from making infallible statements that contain error. So they don't make them at all!
@WeepingStellaMaris - ""Wherefore, in order that all doubt may be removed regarding a matter of great importance, a matter which pertains to the Church's divine constitution itself, in virtue of my ministry of confirming the brethren(cf. Lk 22:32) I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church's faithful."
We mean we wil have a brand new new age reforme christian protestant faith per person and noneof them will agree with each other. there will be only the wars between every new age christianity adn nothing over how to live our lives like a true christian! this is obviously teh work of evil among these protestants! the Lord and the foundations of all christian corruptions and divisions!
ends, we will have one christian faith by eveyr person on earth! These are all a bunch of excuses, child abuses happen every where and no one reports those abuses like we do! No one goes and protect those innocent children the way Catholic do!All bull shit. You give us a name of a faith adn we wil bring you tons of infos on the internet abotu those faiths and their child abuses!
abusing children 30 percent in US alone!Thie system is made in such way no one can and has right to track down those abuses in their protestan churches! If every time yo uwant to invent a new for any exuses then by the time the world
That makes it the 39001 new age ex catholic ex-communicated Pro-Protestan branch then, lol Eveyr day protestants are inventing new christianity .Abuses happen eveyr where, the number of Catholics abusing children to all faith is 2 percent, the number of protestans
He is reffering to Liturgical abuses. The new age masses he is refferring to are those masses where The focus has been taken off Christ and the people worship themselves or waste time and insult God with religous titilations.
if so, I don't think he is. I've been to a couple of his seminars and he celebrates Mass Novus Ordo, so he can't possibly be 100% against it if anything. :)
Thank you Jesus!!!!

@TenderTrap86 That is true. In November 2011, the Roman Missal will be faithful to the Latin original.

We need no more reforms of "the reform" - what we need is the Holy Mass, as it was celebrated by the Saints, back.
Anyone who hates/rejects the Tridentine Mass as "outdated" or inadequate is simply not Catholic.

I realy converted myself seeing the tridentine mass.
I discovered the liturgy at last
It's the heaven on earth ! Deo Gratias
Thanks to our last pope that make this possible !

@WeepingStellaMaris Was this an ex cathedra statement or a doctrine defined at an Ecumenical Council?
And, yes. A pope, bishop or priest can be heretical. It's easy to hold veiws that are heretical. Heresy begins within.
But, trying to define heresy as dogma is something else completely.
And, Vatican II defined no heresy. No "V2" popes have made infallible statements defining heresy as dogma.
The Church is indestructable; the gates of Hell have not, and will never prevail over Rome.

@WeepingStellaMaris It would be prudent to remember that declartations of papal infallibility are rare.
However, it is argued by many that Pope John Paul II's Ordinatio Sacerdotalis, in1994, concerning priestly ordination, is an infallible statement.
I'll post an exerpt::
