it seems to me that this game has kinda replaced the original concept of skateboarding. put down ya control pads and go grab your "real" skateboards and do what you believe in.shred for real!the game is sic and all but just for rainy days. if the game gets more kids into skateboarding thats only good news,right.

you're right, if it gets more people into it that's great! it's also great that it allows people to have some of that skating joy, for those who physically can't or are just plain unable to.

It has inspired me to pick up the board... spent an hour recently trying to click with the mechanics of the ollie.

yeah same with me when I played tony hawk so I wanted to start to skate but I were reaaally dissapointed when I couldnt doo backflips from the ground direct instead the skate flew away from me whole time but now I skate.
