  • just make the latte

  • A tripod for the camera would help us see much more :)

  • Hey, I see you enjoy making coffee drinks. I would like to give you some advice. A lot of companies make "espresso machines", but it ends up making strong coffee. My parents used to have a model exactly like the one you're using and the quality wasn't that great. I purchased a DeLonghi EC-702 for a couple hundred dollars to use in my home and it makes a huge difference. Other than that, I only see one problem in you're method, milk should be rolled and steamed until it reaches a temperature of

  • v wel man ! didn knw how 2 use dat espresso maker :D u knw da art how 2 guide ppl lyk us. keep sharing videoz lyk dat.

  • @JRHALTOM This is a $25.00 espresso machine from Walmart. It takes some time to get the water warm and to steam the milk. There's nothing much I can do about that time duration. This video was also made in a bit of a satirical sense, some tongue-in-cheek. I never really thought anyone would take this video seriously, especially 2yrs after I made it. However I'm glad you enjoyed!

  • Thank you so much! This very helpful.

I can't wait to get those from wall mart and save money.

Love your vid & your expreso looks yum.

  • Very thorough. Thanks!

  • Way to go. Screw the coffee snobs, I like going and getting the $5+ cup of coffee occasionally, but I'm perfectly capable of making myself a good, drinkable cup of espresso for a fraction of the $! I can even pretend to snob too and put some latte art on top! I like your machine better though, steamer arm sticks out a little more than mine. Five starred.

  • u shud have steamed the milk befor u did the expreso and u shud put the milk in after the shot of expreso

  • thank "u" for putting the expression "u" in "ur" comment 3x. I really appreciate it. Why does everyone keep saying "expresso" its .... ESPRESSO , express it right people if you're going to keep making suggestions!

  • @wellsleyplace u r so gay

  • this is why you find a good coffee shop and use it.

  • This is why you realize the point of this video is to save money so please go ahead and take the opportunity to go and spend your $4.59 on a hot "good" coffee shop overpriced beverage of delight.

  • i'd rather spend a few dollars a day on a truly special cup of coffee made by someone who has half an ounce of knowledge, in a nice cafe with a good atmosphere.

Rather than bodge together a cup of dishwater with stale coffee beans, and cheap equipment. luckily for me, I work in a coffee shop and make the stuff all day. but then, if you asked me for a beverage prepared like that... and gave conversation as interesting as your monologue here.... i'd rather you stayed at home and made it anyway.

  • Im gonna need a coffee after listening to this guys voice. He put me asleep...Yawn

  • @dinogreece Perhaps the reason I made this video. To inspire pure caffeination overload due to falling asleep to this video. Enjoy!

  • @wellsleyplace I wasnt lying I really did make a double expresso after watching this video....lol

  • I'd like to make a double "espresso" after watching this video as well but I'm out of beans.

  • nice thanks i just got the espresso maker and i didnt know how to make anything so thanks

  • @punkmen99 You are welcome I am glad that someone at least found this video somewhat useful! Thank you!

  • Steam espresso makers SUCK.

  • thanks

  • did u know that the cofee of starbuck is from here from Costa Rica

  • i think it would have worked better if you had your milk ready before you pulled the shot of espresso because the shots are only good for 10 seconds after being pulled. after that point oxidation alters the taste of the coffee. and also because the latte just looks way more awesome in the reverse order. i dunno...other than that, it was a cool video. except the bastardization of topping it with whipped cream. wtf!! lol j/k. good job bro.

  • yeah the guy cant steam milk beforehand with that machine, i have one like it... it does ruin the taste a bit butt it still is good.

  • You didn't have a crema, which is vital to the espresso, buy a book on espresso, just do research, trust me, it helps A LOT.

  • yeah the guy cant steam milk beforehand with that machine, i have one like it... it does ruin the taste a bit butt it still is good.

  • Great video!!

You didnt make a latte though, you made a Macchiato because in a latte you add the espresso shots prior to adding the steamed milk.

  • i'm almost sure that a Macchiato is a shot of espresso topped with foamed milk, not steamed, but that's just starbucks definition. If i didn't make a true latte I'm sorry , I tried my best. haha. Thanks for the comment!

  • he's right, latte refers to the use of steamed milk not the order the espresso is added, we always made latte by steaming the milk in a latte glass and if you carefully add the espresso down the side you end up with cool layers. Macciato just has a token blob of foam on top

  • haha, you're joking right?

  • Espresso Cup = Portafilter for future reference :P

  • nice

  • shit for that 25 bucks espresso maker it sure gets the job done!

  • Yep...they have a green bag which is regular stuff, a red bag which is for espresso, and a blue bag for the decaf wimps. It's funny...they also have the "starbucks brand" coffee right next to the kirkland brand for 20 bucks! It's the same fucking thing! yep...it costs me like 15 cents at home to make a cappucino. You'll see on the bag that it says "roasted by Starbucks coffee co." You should try Starbucks' Sumatra flavor as well. It's not bitter at all.

  • Thank you very much! Very useful video

  • Lol...you don't have to go to starbucks...but you're using starbucks coffee? A little contradictory, but great vid!

  • Actually, depending where you live. Starbucks Coffee is probably your best bet. The coffee they sell in bags is atually "pretty good", especially if you're making espresso. Of course theres other places that sell better but then again it all comes from the same farms rofl. It's actually how well it's roasted.

  • I don't disagree. They do have a great selection and admittingly, I buy the Kirkland brand of coffee from costco which is roasted by starbucks :-). Their "Sumatra" coffee is great as well because it's not bitter like other coffees. I'm a hypocrite. I hate supporting them, but $10 for a pound of Kirkland starbucks-roasted coffee is pretty good for the money.

  • Oh what..you mean Kirkland coffee is roasted by Starbucks? haha more reasons to go to costco now :D
