thanks this helped me a lot, i have HSPAs and SATs all in the same week and was sick a lot and had a bunch of snowdays recently, and conveniently the teachers procrastinated the material for them, lucky me lol
Quick question. Lets say I were to answer only 20 questions on the test, but I answered all of them correctly. What score would I make on that section of the test?
Again, the theory is that if you can eliminate ot least one (and usually you can eliminate 2 at a minimum), in a random sampling, you'll end up on top. If there is a question and your are unable to make an educated guess (maybe all 5 answers seem plausible to you) then it may not be in your best interest....The SAT is made to have outliers as answers, so if you can hone in on the incorrect ones, your guesses will usually leave you with a + score...thanks for the comment!!

yeah, but if you get 1 in 5 right, but leave the other 4, you get +10. Making an educated guess might not be the best way :/
